Duties
• Supervise and manage all Quality Control and Assurance functions in 2 zones Conference
Center and Multifunctional parking complex and manage a team of QC engineers and in-
spectors for day to day QA/QC functions.
• Inspect and control all construction activities such as excavation and setting out, flooding,
compaction, blinding, damp proofing, reinforcement, steel structure and facade embed-
ments, concreting of foundation, slab on-grade, columns, walls, cores, stairs and slabs.
• Interface and coordinate with Operation and clients for QC matters and coordinate with third
party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
• Prepare Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plant (ITP) such as Concrete works, Pre-
cast Items, emulsion paints PT-01, dust sealer PT-05 according to project/ client requirements
and follow-up for its approval.
• Plan and supervise Subcontractor inspection activities and reviews of Sub Contractor QC
performance.
• Identify the QC requirement for the project (Ex. Resources, procedures, documentation etc., )
and liaise with operation and QC Department for its compliance.
• Supervise staff for reporting, recording and inspection activities.
• Preparation of Final QC dossier for handing over to the client and maintain proper filing sys-
tem (as per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.

-Inspected 20624 LM temporary sheet piles to provide construction jetty and 4280 LM permanent sheet piles to provide erosion protection for the Shoreline Discharge Structure.
-Inspected 1016 LM discharge FRP circulating pipes and 730 LM onshore FRP Intake Pipes - 3 m nominal diameter pipe - according to ITP which included trench excavation/ setting out and levels, trench cleaning, geotextile fabric installation, dry bedding layers, pipes Installation, backfilling layers and joint hydro testing.
-Preparing & reviewing material submittal and its compliance statement before forwarding to consultants approval.
-Inspected 156.87 tons of placed reinforcing steel for 3 intake structures (Velocity caps) and 222.94 tons for the Shoreline Discharge Structure.
-Inspected 2397 m3 of concrete formwork + Casting for 3 intake structures (Velocity caps) and the Shoreline Discharge Structure.
-Inspected 3104 LM offshore Intake Pipes (FRP) according to AWWA C950 and ITP which included trench excavation/dredging + setting out and levels, trench cleaning /airlifting, geotextile Fabric Installation, segment assembly including partial hydro testing of hypochlorite pipes, segment installation and inspection (Prior Backfilling), dumping of wet bedding material, concrete mattresses installation, backfilling (common fill / excavated native soil) up to sea bed level, segments final inspection.
-Controlled and supervised miscellaneous operations such as precast units assembly under water, under water grouting, installation of stop logs, concrete cracks repair, riprap + filter scour protection, damp proofing, AMEX internal jackets, duplex TEEKAY couplers for chlorination lines, removal of cofferdam, installation of Gisman navigation aids and installation of Pultron FRP security rods.
-Submitted for approval PQP, ITP, and other QA/QC documents that are requested by Consultant.
-Closed NCR's and punch list items in co-ordination with Management Representative/Quality Manager

-Read and comprehend the contract specifications, plans, conditions and drawings.
-Prepare Quality Assurance Programs (ITP) for civil works (concrete works, reinforcing steel rebar, concrete masonry works, production of bored piles, sheet piling works and piping works, steel structure)
-Observe, check and document results of all onsite testing (piles compression, lateral and tension tests, plate load test, modeling of massive concrete, hydro - static testing for water pipelines)
-Perform inspections on the job site materials (reinforcing steel, pipes, fabricated steel structures, embedded items, cement and soils)
-Perform construction inspections for driving of the temporary and permanent steel sheet piles inside the Nile River for the intake & discharge structures.
-Perform construction inspections for the R.C bored piles (1, 700.00 piles).
-Perform construction inspections for diaphragms and slurry/cut off walls constructions (25 meters depth), which produced by BAUER Co. as a Subcontractor for OCI/BESIX.
-Inspect and ensure compliance with plans, specifications and best construction methods for the reinforced concrete rafts, footings, columns, walls, piers, slabs and stairs of (steam turbine units, intake structure, discharge structure, boilers, tanks, chimney, electrical building, warehouse building, control building and administration building)
-Perform construction inspections for installation of the circulation water pipelines (2500mm RCCP).
-Record activities on job sites by name, action, location and performance in daily logs, & weekly summery reports.

AZ ZOUR POWER PLANT PROJECT 8 X 125 MW GAS TURBINES. Budget: Million, 130 KD.
Duties
• Check and Inspect fit-up tolerance of Fabrication of Steel Structure according to plans and
specifications.
• Check and Inspect fit-up tolerance of Erection of Steel Structure according to plans and
specifications.
• Soil sampling and testing checks in formation, structural fill, sub base and road base materi-
als.
• Concrete mix design checks, including aggregate and cement sampling and testing.
• Asphalt mix design checks, including aggregate and bitumen sampling and testing, also
transportation and laying specification requirements.
• Concrete pre pouring inspections also delivery to the work site and placement checks. Con-
crete protection and curing checks.
• Inspected and supervised piling works
• Soil sampling and testing checks, including all back filling/filling activities.
• Monitor daily field construction/building operations to ensure compliance with approved
Project/s Design Drawings and approved Project/s Quality Plans.
• Responsible for inspecting and monitoring Contractor civil procedures, performance activi-
ties and ensuring compliance with all contract documentation and drawings.
• Inspected and supervised and approved the construction of trench work, foundation of gas
turbine generators, transformers and tanks.
• Prepare the entire outstanding punch list for Civil and Structural & Piping works (Pipe Sup-
ports).
• Monitor the assigned construction scope to ensure company and Contractors perform all
work to agreed standards for safety, health and environment and demonstrate a commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Envi

As a consultant I worked with diversified projects in civil engineering namely projects related to residential, commercial and also industrial projects. This gave me in depth understanding on business areas on all these areas. I used separate approach and techniques for each domain as the rules, code and costing technique for each project differs. I am a good team player and thereby could work well with the team of builders, contractors and management and could implement the development as per design standards with quality and efficiency in stipulated time.
