Position Held: Application and Calibration Engineer
Job responsibilities:
• Responsible for vehicle testing / system integration for camera based driver assistance functions (e.g. Lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and smart headlight support).
• Responsible for camera vehicle integration, debugging / troubleshooting using automotive development tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer and CANape.
• In-vehicle and simulation/bench performance calibration of camera sensor based algorithms to meet customer and Bosch performance specifications.
• Responsible for evaluating customer specifications and translating the system requirements into Rational DOORS, evaluate requirements and test coverage, and support issue / defect tracking
• Responsible for performing and redesigning customer Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) based on customer requirements.
• Define and document test cases / test strategy, analyze and document test data / results
• Support test-drives with customer
• Hands on experience with Agile development methods (SCRUM)
Position Held: Quality Engineer
Job responsibilities:
• Product responsibilities: Multi-purpose camera, Mid-range radar, Rear-view camera, and Park assist system.
• Responsibilities include
• Monitoring product quality data, identifying and addressing factors driving negative warranty/field performance trends
• Customer Support - complaints
• Failure Analysis - 8-D lead/support on internal and external issues
• Ensure quality requirements are adhered to during the product design phase.
• Coordination of customer visits / line-walks
Position Held: Control Engineer (Hardware and Software)
• Joined a team of senior hardware designers to create Electrical Schematics according to customer specs.
• Debugged issues using PLC software. Projects held:
§ MTW: GM WELD CELL (Nov - Dec 2015)
o Joined a team of four in software design and debug of a weld cell. o PLC software design and debug.
o HMI software design and debug.
o Assisted programming ABB robots.
§Van Rob Front/Rear Wheelhouse Systems (Dec 2015 - April 2016)
o Co-lead a team of five PLC programmers in designing three complete cells to assemble the wheelhouse using the Van Rob
standard. Project was completed on time with high quality.
o Led a team of three engineers in designing 12 HMI’s for the three wheelhouse cells. Project was completed on time with high
quality.
o Assisted programming Fanuc robots.
§FCA KL Framing/ARS (June 2016 - August 2016)
o Controls design to complete electrical schematics, fluidic schematics, software and integration support for the FCA KL
BVAP 2017
The main focus was on planning process and utility units projects in accordance with the company’s benefits and to prepare feasibility studies for new projects or capacity increment.
