- Orchestrated the construction of 36 ultra-luxury villas on a remote island, managing a
project budget of over $1 billion SAR, and delivering all villas ahead of schedule, exceeding
quality expectations and enhancing NEOM's real estate portfolio.
- Directed the construction, overseeing all aspects of construction, including cast-in-situ
foundations, baffle walls, precast walls, and slabs.
- Ensured quality control and adherence to project specifications in collaboration with project
owner (NEOM) and PMC (AECOM).
- Collaborated closely with project stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and
timelines.

PROJECT BRIEF
- Utilized two large boring machines, each with a 13-meter diameter cutter head, to create
tunnels extending 5 kilometers beneath the Suez Canal. These tunnels served as vital
connections between Ismailia city and the opposite side of the canal.
- Implemented diaphragm walls with a remarkable depth of up to 50 meters and a width of 1
meter, reinforced by an anchor system to withstand substantial earth forces.
- Employed a robust strut and jacking system to facilitate deep excavation and maintain the
structural integrity of the project.
- Constructed retaining reinforced concrete walls, each with a width of 1.2 meters, ensuring
the long-term stability and security of the tunnels.
- Designed sloped, separated foundations for the tunnel entrances, featuring a height of 1.5
meters, a length exceeding 120 meters, and a width of 80 meters.
- Installed foundations to support the tunnel boring machines in the launch shaft, providing a
stable base for these heavy machinery components.
- Created a cross passage connecting the two tunnels, employing a freezing system to
manage the surrounding soil conditions effectively.

- Constructed more than 12 water structure buildings on the project site, each serving a
specific purpose in the overall water management system.
- Implemented deep excavations reaching depths of up to 12 meters below ground level,
utilizing a strut and jacking system to create foundations for pumping machines, each with a
substantial capacity of over 500 m3.
- Designed and constructed an intake building featuring two gates connected to the canal.
This involved the installation of piles and sheet piles, along with struts, to ensure the secure
excavation process.
- Built four large clarifier tanks, each with an impressive diameter of approximately 34
meters and a height of 12 meters. These tanks played a pivotal role in the water treatment
process.
- Created a ground tank for treated water, measuring 50 by 25 by 3 meters, which served as
a crucial reservoir for storing treated water before distribution through the pipeline network
to the city.
- Established separate chemical and filtration buildings, providing the necessary facilities for
the effective treatment and purification of water.
- The overall project was successfully executed with a total budget of 430 million LE,
demonstrating efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the delivery of vital water infrastructure
solutions.
