• Support in the development of Centro’s strategies by identifying and researching human resources concerns; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the company strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Manages human resources operations by recruiting, training, coaching and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
• Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, planning and managing HR budget for long and short terms and advice hiring personnel for the department; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
• Coordinates implementation of services, policies, benefits and programs through Human Resources staff, hence updating handbook and ensuring that Centro’s policies are being implemented correctly
• Managing the updating and finalizing of the Handbook
• Managing, tasking and evaluating all HR employees
• Managing and implementing all compensation and benefits plans.
• Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business
• Employee Relations: managing absence, disciplinarians, grievances, sickness etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement
• Performance Management: coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
• Learning & Development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams
• Training: Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement. Enhancing organization’s development programs. Supervise the TNA and the annual training agenda.
• Recruitment & retention: managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
• Policy & procedures: implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes and ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
• Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues
• Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
• Crafting of business and people solutions
• Managing priorities between casework and projects
• Managing HR budgets
• Managing HRIS department.
• Supports the executive management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
