Bourbon is the world leader to provide services to offshore oil and gas industry. Dubai affiliate is responsible for global purchasing & planned maintenance activity representing a fleet of 513 vessels over 45 countries worldwide.
My role is to ensure that global Maintenance project cost controlling and financial monitoring of planned maintenance dry docking operations are performed with accuracy with optimized methods.
Responsibilities
•Analyzing and consolidating operational and financial data to report & compare Capex project towards internal and external client.
•Conducting a mission of Management of change handing over accounting back charging process operations representing USD 38 M Capex cost over 6 different affiliates in Africa, Europe and Middle East.
•Providing appropriate monitoring tools to top management operating with multi-currency environment.
• Measuring Cash flow by assessing on the Risk of Client overdue (Account receivable) lead time payment in order to cover G&A cost.
•Editing and following Capex Rolling forecast in order to reach the quarterly and Yearly Target
•Project leader and cost accounting on Capex closing for a Budget of 118 M USD (scope of 101 vessels)
•Participating in Planned Maintenance Budget set up and follow up
•Preparing and presenting Financial Reporting: Monthly/Quarterly/Annually activity Turnover, key performance indicators.
•Proposing and setting up a Standardization of Capex Purchaser reporting
•Enhancing client satisfaction by providing quality financial reporting, explaining budget variation
•Assessing G&A impact analysis on business forecast
•Establishing with General management key performance indicator (KPI) to monitor the business unit activity and its financial viability
•Business Intelligence user and Process improvement player to propose best practices towards operational teams
•Contributing to Corporate compliance & ethics policy with (local) regulations & taxes

Bourbon Offshore Surf (BOS) Marseilles - France
BOS is the biggest affiliate of Bourbon company managing 1000 seafarers in the world and 100 onshore collaborators with the largest group fleet of 80 Offshore support Vessels providing complete naval support to Offshore industry. After 2.5 years in the company I was promoted as Deputy Finance manager: my role was to manage and coordinate actions from business analysts and Account Payable team in order to guaranty booking accuracy and counseled adequately Finance Manager for decision making
Responsibilities
• Managed and coordinated 2 business Analysts plus a team of 8 Accountants payable using Oracle.
• Prepared and analyze affiliate financial information/ statement on a mandatory basis for Ship manager fleet activity with an OPEX budget of 200 M USD ( scope of 100 P&L vessels)
• Project leader paper free target allowing Invoices workflow validation and ERP Oracle pre booking integration
• Designed Key indicators for Corporate operations & Finance Reporting (QRM: Quarterly meeting Review)
• Developed operational Tools using Excel macro and template to encourage accounting team to use Excel template to facilitate Oracle booking for complex invoicing
• Controlled booking allocation coding on Purchase orders and Invoices following a threshold limit
