• Orchestrated the largest gasification project finance and advisory transaction as a key contact for the main sponsor as well as an internal anchor for transaction structure, hurdles, and requirements.
• Originated and closed out one of the largest acquisition finance transactions in the region.
• Successfully managed numerous large scale syndicated transactions up tiering the bank’s relationship positioning across the board with the GREs in the Kingdom.
• Cross border transactions in Asia for business with client and their strategic JVs/subsidiaries including bridge loans, project finance, cash management, commodity leasing, cross-currency funding, and others.
• Led a fully underwritten ship financing transaction (award-winning)
Senior Relationship Manager looking after large corporate accounts within Dubai & Northern Emirates.
Key Achievements:
• Single handedly managed one of the largest family owned groups in Saudi Arabia and appropriately managed account conduct while meeting the bank’s requirements from a business, credit, compliance, legal, and perspective as well as looking after a troubled account within the group and successfully restoring its status.
• Managed the control and custody of Kuwait Government group limits for all government related entities consolidated under the country mandate while monitoring risk, return, and regulatory requirements with regards to capital adequacy, returns, and revenue generation.
• Spear-headed partial sell-down/distribution of USD 150m facility as per Group Head requirements within stipulated timelines and approvals.
Key Achievements:
• Established Standard Chartered Capital offices in Riyadh by taking active role in establishing the regulatory framework to achieve final Capital Markets Authority licenses.
• Active member in the company’s Management Committee to coordinate various processes within the company relating to strategy formulation, client on-boarding, revenue tagging, and operational risk.
• Led Standard Chartered’s representation in the Euromoney conference in Riyadh in 2012.

• Managed the portfolio of key Government related and large corporate clients of more than 100 names
• Supervised and mentored new joiner placed under my responsibility to support the business and myself as the key relationship manager
• Mentored, supported, and handed over portfolio to newly recruited Directors whose role was to fill my position upon my promotion and transfer to Standard Chartered Capital Saudi Arabia.
Key Achievements:
• Participated in a series of hands on rotations providing valuable experience within the Wholesale Bank averaging between 3 and 6 months each including Relationship Management, Financial Markets, Credit, Trade Finance, and Operations.
• Took active role in all rotations within the most prestigious Management Training Program in Standard Chartered Group where I was one of 340 globally selected out of 90, 000 applicants.
• Led 5 day Strategy project assigned in Singapore which involved research, preparation, team work, and presentation to senior management in the Bank whereby my group was awarded 2nd place from approximately 30 groups.
