• Explore new security hardware and software solutions to create sales opportunities
• Participating in design and strategic meetings with clients and vendors
• Perform comprehensive security analysis, capacity planning, and assessments
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, identify deficiencies and make appropriate recommendations
• Create and document logical network topologies
• Create and deliver proposed solutions
• Install and configure security related hardware and software as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
Contribution to ISMS team in internal ISO27K certification and audit
Design, develop, and deploy, security technologies into our client's environment: Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, Blue Coat, F5, Websense, McAfee, Foundstone, LogRhythm, Firemon and others.
Design, build and maintain Security solutions for client environments.
Participate in on-boarding, scoping and pursuits.
Perform engineering delivery for various clients/accounts.
Help to develop new monitoring rules and response procedures.
Monitor network for security anomalies and respond appropriately.
Perform maintenance and management of assigned security technologies and functions that include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication devices, encryption, event log monitoring, reporting, incident response, security analysis and/or other security activities.
Research, evaluate, design and implement new/improved security software and/or devices that meet risk management objectives.
Perform security analysis of assigned systems and functions.
Report findings and make recommendations for remediation to management.
Tyco Fire & Security LLC - November 2006 till May 2010 - Senior Project Engineer (IT Support for Fire & Security Systems)
* Designing of IT plan for fire & security projects mostly for CCTV & Access Control systems, to ensure an element of continuity and understanding of project is achieved.
* Prepare a detailed project plan to complete a project on time and within budget, with good quality to client's satisfaction.
* Configuration, maintenance & troubleshooting of network based assignments.
* Management of team of over 50 engineers including technicians, supervisors, commissioning and design
