Employed full time in Rural Health with Valley Wide Health Systems. Working with patients in Family Medicine. Average Patient load is 18 to 24 daily. Patient ages from birth to elderly and some minimal early OB care. I accepted this assignment as I was called back to active duty in the Medical Health Service Corps.
Employed Full time as a Provider in Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine. I have medical support from DO’s and MD’s. I care for the newly injured or ill patient and the injured, exposed or ill person in an occupational medical arena following work compensation guidelines to provide excellent cost effective care. I have cared for all age groups in this clinical setting.
I left employment as I was called back to US Health Service Corps. Active duty.
I worked with David Linn, MD and Ted Villavicencio, MD caring for patients in a rural health setting. My duties included direct patient care both with the physicians and independently. Because the clinic is rural, we often saw medical emergencies requiring us to stabilize the patient while 911 was activated. Patients of all ages and medical problems including heart disease, chronic pain management, Diabetes, Hypertension, Alcohol and drug addictions and psychological issues among others. Age groups included the newborn babies to older adults.
Travel Assignment: I worked directly with Injured and Wounded Veterans who had requested a disability claim for injures, illness or wound obtained while serving in the Armed Forces. I reviewed their forms and completed a medical exam and using strict federal guidelines, I documented these findings which along with their service medical records were presented before a hearing / board and the veteran was then awarded or denied additional funds and or benefits.
Travel Assignment: I worked in a small rural community in northern Maine caring for our American Heroes. Clinical aspects varied a lot from older veterans with multiple medical problems including Diabetes, HTN, Coronary Heart Disease, Agent Orange issues and younger veterans returning home with PTSD, limb injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Regionally I cared for all the Female solders as I was the only Female Provider.
I worked independently in the Yellowstone Lake Clinic with two RN’s we cared for patients from around the world with minor illness to life threatening illness and from minor trauma to mass trauma. I had a physician on call for consultation by phone. We also cared for the 14000 staff members who come to the park to work caring for multiple medical issues and psychiatric issues.

Administered patient care and provided problem-solving expertise as a bedside nurse to critically ill medical, post-surgical and post trauma patients in the Intensive Care Unit. After working in ICU for two years in ICU a transfer to Post Anesthesia Care working with critical and non-critical patients within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
•Planned, prepared and developed Homodynamic Monitoring Guidebook, a critical care guide for swanz-ganz monitoring and invasive cardiac monitoring.
Established Ivonyx product accounts within local market and coordinated patient care with homecare companies and medical providers.
I provided patient care to medical and trauma patients in the busiest trauma center in the United States. Assisted nurses with incoming patient evaluations and served as Charge Nurse.
