Reviewing the Contractor’s Baseline, Execution & Revised Planning packages and providing appropriate recommendation to Client.
• Updating PRIMAVERA project schedule, analyzing delays & accomplishments to keep the stakeholders well informed.
• Ensure that baseline covers all contractual scope of works with effective Milestones completion dates as per the contract.
• Following up and guide the contractor in issuing the revised planning packages after incorporating the client approved change orders.
• Prepare 'S' curves, bar charts and earned value analysis reports on weekly and monthly basis for the client information.
• Preparing high level control estimates and monitoring and reporting to the Client.
• Analyze and identify the areas of concern, work progress trends and report the same to the Senior Resident Engineer to minimize such impacts and ensure timely completion of the Project.
• Calculate the actual production rates at site. Highlight the weaknesses at site. Verify all the submitted reports by the Contractors. Maintain a Master Schedule for the client.
• Review & Approval of EOT. Develop EOT assessment reports using the prospective and retrospective delay analysis highlighting delay, disruption and acceleration using Time Impact method. Coordination with RPD & ESD team for final approval.
• Evaluating & recommending the contractor for their submittals as per the Contract especially during the mobilization stage of project.
• Preparing & Reviewing Handover plan & Schedule. Prepare and Monitor the Trackers for Snags, Deliverables and Outstanding works for all the End users.
• Preparation of Project Dashboards, Cost Reports and Progress presentations for Client and Management
• Preparing Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plans
• Road Opening Permit (RO) - Apply & Respond to 3rd Party Agencies’ comments by liaising with stakeholders. Track the latest update through QPRO system and communicate to Client, Senior Resident Engineer & Contractor.
• Design Request (DR) - Apply RFIs’ & Respond to 3rd Party Agencies’ comments by liaising with stakeholders. Track the latest update through QDRS system and communicate to Client, Senior Resident Engineer & Contractor.
• Tracking & updating the others permits required (Dewatering, Environmental, Lagoon, Laydown, Ground water pumping, Micro tunnel, crushing plant and excavation permits) especially during the mobilization stage of the project.
• Verifying the project progress percentage according to the actual accomplished work on the site.
• Review and continually monitor the Contractor’s progress against approved baseline schedules and ensure equipment and manpower are adequately assigned.
• Monitoring the progress, risk and critical issues of the project using Ashghal’s ARM (Active Risk Manager)
• Evaluating, Measuring, Reviewing & Scoring against Contractor’s KPI in PMWeb system provided by Client
• Gathering KPI data and measuring KPI Score for the projects under KEIC. Prepared a KPI Dashboard which was appreciated by the Owner of KEIC.
• Evaluate the CRs (change requests) submitted by the contractor in terms of the extension of time following both prospective and retrospective analysis (Time impact analysis (Impact as scheduled or as built schedules).
• Evaluate the contractor claimed prolongation cost by analyzing the concurrent delays and segregating the contractor compensable delay due to client changes out of the non-compensable due contractor responsibility.
• Prepares Weekly and Monthly Progress reports.
• Assist Senior Resident Engineer in formulating project strategy / plans, monitor, implement, recommended changes to the plan to meet project objectives.
• Conduct meetings with clients, contractors and discipline engineers on regular basis to discuss areas of concern, review progress, resolve any issues and Prepare Minute of Meeting.
• Periodic site visit for progress monitoring to ensure program and critical path is being achieved.

Understanding and interpreting construction drawings, to prepare construction plans, presentations and related documentations.
• Preparation of baseline Schedule (Resource & Cost Loaded) of Works in P6 in accordance with Contract requirements under the guidance/inputs of Planning Manager
• Update the Working Program in daily basis by regularly monitoring the project and determined the causes for the change of the longest path / critical path / near critical path (float<15days) for each individual facility.
• Identify and review regularly, critical and sub-critical activities and monitor its impact on project schedules
• Develop and maintain project change control and review scope change requests for impact on schedules and the critical path of the project
• Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Manager or Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.
• Prepared & monitored each activity in Rolling Schedules (3WLA) complying the master schedule with the Construction Management Unit to enable timely execution at site.
• Develop alternative construction programs if site conditions or other circumstances require corrective steps to accomplish the final construction completion date
• Preparing the snapshot & KPI reports for the main contractor’s senior Management. Maintained the Logic Revision Report, reasons for the logic revision and the effect it has on the milestone and the project. Maintaining procurement log for the contractually accepted project based long lead items.
• Provided information by observing delay events and reasons/causes. Regular meetings with management to communicate the status of the project and requirement to avert possible delays and to mitigate delays.
• Gave observations on the possible changes to the Master program and also to determine disruption due to delays/claims/extensions of time.
• Collaboratively work with BIM team and support them to produce BIM and validate the model
• Making projections for manpower, material and machinery requirements based on the approved construction program for project at different times and stages of the construction.
