• Successfully tested & commissioned protection systems in 132/11kV and 66/11kV
substations under Kahramaa.
• Carried out OHL (Overhead Line) and UGC (Underground Cable) feeder protection testing
including distance protection, differential, and backup relays.
• Performed functional checks and scheme verification for GIS switchgears, numerical relays,
and control panels.
• Conducted interface testing between protection panels and SCADA/RTU systems for grid
integration.
• Coordinated with client engineers across multiple substations to ensure all testing and
commissioning activities complied with IEC standards and KAHRAMAA requirements.

Protection & Design Responsibilities
Developed and executed switching operations for HV/LV substations.
Studying Project technical specification - Reviewing Electrical drawings & Protection related
Drawings/documents and following up on the proper flow of documents during the base, and detail
design stage to get approval from the client.
Designed and reviewed single-line diagrams, relay & metering drawings, IO lists for SCADA
signals, and protection logics (interlocks, synchronizing, breaker failure, pole discrepancy
schemes).
Supervised GIS LCC, CRP, transformers, generators, and its auxiliaries; resolved technical
variances in collaboration with OEMs.
Conducted design reviews and client/vendor meetings, covering base and detailed design stages
of electrical schematics and Co ordinating with As-built drawings, cable schedules.
Reviewed and incorporated customer comments as per specification requirement on
datasheets, layouts, and submissions, ensuring resubmissions met deadlines
Developed Design, Configuration, Testing of ARC protection, Line differential, ATS scheme, GOOSING
logics & reacceleration function.

Supported power plant operations including design modifications, troubleshooting, and
performance improvement of boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
Led installation coordination for transformers, shunt reactors, control panels, and power/control
cabling.
Prepared and validated ITPs, FAT/SAT procedures, test schedules, pre-commissioning
checklists, MOS, scheme modifications, commissioning schedules and closeout reports

Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance Responsibilities
