• Responsible for the overall delivery of the project
• Manage 40 resources effectively.
• Manage the cost of the project and make sure it does not overrun the overall project budget
• Estimate the timelines and cost of the project on a monthly basis
• Prepare project plan using MPP and take it to the client and get it approved with all internal &
client stakeholders.
• Track the change requests and get them approved from the client
• Manage the appraisal cycle of resources
• Perform root cause analysis of all defects in SIT, UAT & Production environments
• Perform overall defect analysis to come up with the % of root cause analysis, % of internal issues & client issues, % of business impact. Share the report with senior leadership on a daily basis.
• Share the weekly status report with senior leadership that contains executive level status will all issues & risks identified, environment wise status, important milestones and their deadlines & accomplishments.
• Responsible for successful closure of internal audit and external audits
• Manage the team of 71 team members that includes both Development as well as Maintenance tracks.
• Manage all the projects in both tracks, maintenance being FP model & Development being T&M model.
• Do the staffing for the projects as per the ramp-up or ramp-down of the resources each month by the client.
• Manage the expectations of the client by delivering the projects on schedule and within the budget.
• Perform appraisals for the team and give regular feedback as and when needed.
• Participate in team building activities.
• Recognize the team members at right time and provide them with the motivation as and when needed.
• Conduct weekly status meetings with the team members and onsite counterparts, understand the risks/issues and address the concerns of the team.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the defects.
• Monitor & track the health of 12 projects in Development track; 6 modules in Maintenance track.
• Lead the team of 4 through the entire SDLC development process and serve as a single point of contact for all the stakeholders involved in the project.
• Prepare high level design, low level design of the projects, develop the project using Ab Initio as the mail ETL tool and perform rigorous testing of the project.
• Prepare project plans and project sizings.
• Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.
• Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.
• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
• Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
• Liaises with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management
• Involved in acquiring the business requirements from the client and business users and consolidating them.
