Role:
Processing orders for all Imports & Warehouse Shipments, performing the

Acquired attestation/legalization of products from GCC Standards Organization
Collaborated with Accounts Department to ensure collection of LC's and TT
payments as per the defined terms
Worked in coordination with Sales and Logistics Department for the planning
and dispatch of shipments; maintained proper trade documentations to ensure
seamless import, re-export and direct shipments
Sent weekly updates about the production and shipment status to the
Management and Sales Department

Administered the entire gamut of operations entailing sea exports, port
formalities and its documentation

Managed the import operations through sea, air and land; ensured proper
custom clearances were in place
Supervised the Operations Team and Clearing Agent to ensure timely clearance
of cargo from the port resulting in minimizing of demurrage costs
Executed the clearing for imports of dangerous goods and applies for duty
exemptions through MOFI
Examined Performa invoice before confirming the orders; monitored the stock
levels in warehouses of all warehouses and placed orders accordingly
Verified supplier invoice to ensure items are supplied and charged to correct
accounts
Performed the costing of newly arrived items basis the landing costs;
analyzed daily bank statements, reconciled available funds and scheduled
telegraphic transfers to the suppliers
Purchased foreign currency to make payments to the suppliers
Coordinated with bank relationship managers to resolve bank issues, fund
transfer for all international and local suppliers
Prepared L/C s and bank guarantees; obtained insurance documents for all
goods and vehicles

Assisted SAP Consultant in the implementation of inventory modules by proactively
participating in the physical audit process of 150, 000 sq.ft. warehouse
