Develops and designs the operation and functionalities of the various electrical systems for marine electrical systems project. The typical tasks is to identify the technical requirements of the project, drawings for switchboards, generators, propulsion (motors and drives), motor controllers, produce electrical system diagrams, and interpret regulatory body requirements.

• Preparation of Electrical Drawings & Safety system layouts as per requirements for the project in consultation with the client or consultant.
• Selection of Suitable Equipment’s as per the client & Consultant Specification & BOQ Preparation, Estimate & Project Execution.
• Analyzing power flow for distribution and calculation of short circuit at each level.
• Preparing panel GA drawings, calculation of bus bar size, breakers capacities for the same and making electrical room panel layout drawings.
• Design of Cables, Cable trays and Cable Schedules
• Co-ordination with Manufacturing & Field Installation Team.
• Knowledge on Panel Testing (HV, Current Injection test, Function Tests).
• Development of Project Manuals for the corresponding Projects.

• Preparation of Electrical Drawing requirements for the project in consultation

• Development of I/O Schedules and Listing.
• Co-ordination with Manufacturing Team.
• Knowledge on Panel Testing (HV, Current Injection test, Function Tests).
• Development of Project Manuals for the corresponding Projects.
• Hardware Configuration of PLC

Involved in various projects of manufacturing Tyre Building Machines for MRF, Michelin, JK, Apollo and Birla

• Preparing PLC Control Drawing, Pneumatic Drawing, G.A Drawing. Wide experience in AutoCAD to prepare Electrical drawings.

• Industrial Automation Systems (PLC, SCADA, DRIVES) configuration.

• Selection of Pneumatic components, Panel Designing, Cable layout, Selection of Automation Products like PLC, VFD, Contactor, Relays.

• Creating Bill of Materials using Wrench 4.0 package. The BOM contain details regarding its BOM no, Revision no, Sub-assemblies with its Part no, Short description, Item no, Quantity; etc.

• Creating Engineering Change Order (ECO) if necessary for parts and Bill of Materials having slight changes. The type of changes in BOM includes Adding part, modifying the quantity of part, changing the part and Deleting the part. The type of change in Part drawing includes change of Rating, Specification, adding or deleting Components, etc.,

• To co-ordinate with Purchasing, Electrical assembly and testing departments.
