Total years of experience :23 years, 8 Months
I focus on healthcare financial regulations. My role involves analysing and developing guidelines and regulations that promote efficiency and accountability while staying current with industry trends. I collaborate with healthcare professionals and regulators to ensure transparency and cooperation in financial matters. I aim to align policies with the healthcare landscape and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Between 2017 and 2020, I served as an advisor to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Financial Transformation and Spending Efficiency. I focused on healthcare financial transformation projects aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals. My primary responsibilities included developing care providers' transformation strategies, identifying priority areas, and ensuring successful execution. I contributed to operating models and policies that facilitated the transformation.
My role as CFO involved leading the Finance, Business Office, and Credit Management teams. I focused on improving reporting and internal controls. I established robust governance frameworks, mitigated risk, and promoted compliance and ethical practices. My work in pricing, budgeting, and investments facilitated informed decision-making and financial goal attainment. Instrumental in the Oracle system implementation, I boosted efficiency and streamlined processes.
During a crucial transitional period, I served as the CFO of a hospital, overseeing financial management and billing practices. I implemented reliable financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. I worked with the CEO and played a significant role in executing the group's strategic planning and financial evaluation of investments.
I oversaw financial and strategic work in transportation, technology, and anti-terrorism security businesses. I oversaw negotiations, assessed partners, managed legal and financial aspects, and sold the portfolio at 2x the cost.
Over seven years, I have had multiple roles. I handled financial reporting, auditing, budgeting, investment evaluation, and compliance assurance. Furthermore, I ensured accurate financial reporting, supervised auditors, strengthened internal controls, prepared timely budgets and helped negotiate pricing.
Through my experience working as a trainee in a public accounting practice, I gained valuable skills. However, I realised that my interests were better suited to the commercial sector than the public practice. This led me to transition into commercial organisations.
