Crude assay chemist in Fujairah lab, My responsibilities are
Distillation of Crude Oil by ASTM D 2892 and D 5236
After collecting the fraction of Crude like naphtha, kerosene, gas oil, base oil and residue
Perform all Testings associated with each fractions like total sulfur, PIONA by GC, Total Nitrogen, Mercaptans, Viscosities
Experience of handling crude from different part of worlds like Saudia, , Oman, Qatar, Georgia, Pakistan, India
• To conduct & supervise QC activities related run down & finished product testing of Fuel, Lube, Asphalt and Crude.
• To conduct technical evaluation of crude/additives/chemicals used in refinery.
• To coordinate for procurement of new laboratory equipments for improving the testing standard at NRL according to standard testing procedures like ASTM, IP, UOP
