Earlier Participated as a Product / Technical Manager of SAS Anti Money Laundering Solution, deployed this solution successfully in Soneri Bank Limited and KASB Bank. Combating money laundering and terror financing is a complex and involved process, this state-of-the-art solution enabled us to develop internal controls and systems for the banks and then the training of staff, facilitate users to exercise the policy and procedures developed by Compliance / Risk Department and also by regulatory authorities.
Customized and managed the implementation of SAS Operation Risk Software (Operation Risk Management is one of the Basel II requirement) at United Bank Limited. Also managed comprehensive training programs and rollout workshops for SAS Oprisk Solutions. On-time delivery of SAS operational risk implementation project, enable bank to calculate the BIA approach parameters of operational risk. Provided comprehensive solution set encompasses both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of operational risk.
Implemented SAS AML 5.1 Migration Project in Soneri Bank Limited, Pakisntan
Customized and managed the Budget Reporting Software for Atlas Bank Limited. Also worked as Administrator / Project Manager for software deployment of VSuite - Procurement Management and Fixed Assets Management System. Participated in deployment of SAS Software for Financial Reporting
Developed and managed MIS for Meezan Bank covering all Financial Reports. This caters all Regional Wise, Branch Wise, Product Wise, Sales, Budget and Cost Center Repots. The application is developed in DOTNETNUKE, Reporting Services and database used is SQL Server 2000. Also managed Operations of all software running in Meezan Bank Limited.
Participated in the analysis of Business Processes of Union Bank Core Banking Application (Equation) for development of I-banking. The application was developed in .NET and J2EE framework, and database used is SQL Server 2000. Another assignment was to collect data and information related to customers accounts and forward this information to development team for further development and changes.
Participated as Customer Relationship Manager for financial application developed by Apvision for Union Bank. The application was developed in J2EE, IBM DB2 7.2 for Windows NT and the IBM Web Sphere 4.0.1. Next assignment was to deploy the various modules of the financial application developed and presents them to the various groups of users. Interaction includes Meeting, Presentations, Demos and Training. Also involved in the Quality Auditing of the application.
Also Participated in the development of financial application for Union Bank. This application was developed in J2EE. The database used was IBM DB2 7.2 for NT and the web server was IBM Web Sphere 4.0.1. Working as a Team lead of 4 members team for the Union Bank’s financial application. The assignment was to develop an ERP solution covering Vendor Management System, Inventory Management System, billing and other expenses and Fixed Asset Management System.
Worked as a team member/leader in a project involving testing and debugging of Personal Java for Philips Trimedia. In this project we had to debug the Personal JAVA (JVM) that was ported for Trimedia, a DSP processor developed by Philips. The development platform for the system was C on Solaris. The system ran on the pSOS operating system. We had to fix the bugs related to memory overflows and the instruction set. This required understanding and debugging the code written by other developers in C-Language.
Participated in the analysis, design and development of financial application (Foreign Exchange System) for American Express Bank. This application was developed in Visual Basic 6.0 and the reports were built in Crystal Report 4.6. The database used in this application was SQL Server. Worked on Crystal Reports and SQL Server 7.0 to develop different reports for the customers and for the company.
