• Review patient's e-medical records.
• Abstract all demographic, statistical and medical information from each patient record and enter the data into the coding/abstracting system.
• Codes the outpatients and Emergency medical records by using ICD-10 And cpt codes.
• Reviewing & confirmation of assigned codes for resubmissions & denials for re-imbursement needs, pertaining to coding error.
• This position is also responsible for support activities of the Medical Records and department such as incomplete records assistance and assembly/analysis of discharged patient records.
