Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all
deliverables involved in the assigned scope
▪ Identify design and constructability issues and analysis to determine constructability
▪ Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project
▪ Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants),
and client
▪ Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types
▪ Determine required but non indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all
contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
▪ Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and
Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate
▪ Perform assessment on subcontractor proposals to ascertain if scope is covered and also manage
the risk of scope gaps
▪ Proffer suggestions to the Chief Estimator or appropriate authority for contemplated
expenditures.
Identify the needs, quantities take offs, packages preparations, researching and evaluating
vendors for quality and pricing.
▪ Contact and Follow up with suppliers/subcontractors for pricing.
▪ Process purchase requisitions and orders.
▪ Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier, tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals
▪ Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
▪ Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business relationships
▪ Provide all required invoices, vouchers, quotations and other documents for the procurement
manager
▪ Work with the procurement manager to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery
requirements
▪ Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and service to be purchased
▪ Prepare the necessary logs and pricing comparison charts
▪ Update the price list or raw materials and services

Gained an advanced engineering experience by being a part of Mega Projects and Governmental
construction works, such as the Qaraoun Dam (Conveyor 800 - One of the largest projects in the
Middle East Region), the Charles Helou Road, the Course Awali diverting tunnel, underground
telephone cable duct projects, and other road preparation and water channel maintenance works
▪ Reviewed plans and took on estimation engineering responsibilities including BOQs
▪ Provided engineering advice in the planning, coordination, and supervision on site, including
complex problem solving and schedule planning
