Manage IT team, coach them, monitor and control their deliverables, plan and monitor their career development, enforce system policies, standards and procedures.
Proactively recommend to management plans to grow, reorganize and restructure the I.T. department, based on current and future projects requirements
Maintain quality service by maintaining and enforcing organization standards
Establish I.T. communication and collaboration systems and processes including news broadcast, shared documentation libraries, help desk process.
Estimate I.T. department budgets and maintain visibility to management.
Establish a procurement cost optimization process allowing efficient evaluation and selection of vendors, materials, services, and running expenditures related to the I.T. department.
Evaluate the existing I.T. department staffing, technology infrastructure, processes and standards, and recommend a major plan to cater for project requirements.
Upgrade/replace the core banking solution with recommendations.
Establish a project control process and manage the further development and implementation of current projects:
Ensure that all companys project stakeholders and committed internal team members involvement in time, material and deliverables are met as per the agreed project timelines and scope
To manage the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered.
