Programme Management Office
Responsible for setting up the Programme Governance ensuring that workstreams are defined with clear purpose, objectives and deliverables, providing PMO standards and framework on reporting, change management, risk and issue management, escalation and decision communication for:
- Major migration programme of an airline with 6 sub-programmes;
- Major airport expansion programme in delivery with 4 sub-programmes and 19 projects;
- Major greenfield infrastructure programme in design with 11 sub-programmes.
PMO improvements:
Responsible for developing templates and processes (dependencies, risk and issues, decisions, escalation, change, steering group templates) for wider organisation;
Responsible for preparing portfolio analysis.
Business Process Improvement
Responsible for a business process mapping project for a government property developer company. Developed RFP, process management methodology.
Business Analysis and process improvement
Responsible for design and implementation of new document control, office digitalisation options, financial budgeting and reporting processes for a façade engineering consultancy, which currently has the largest specialist ‘façade only’ team in the Middle East with an impressive portfolio of iconic landmarks in the region.
Programme Management Office for a major organisation transformation programme.
Assisted in organisational transformation of the major state owned player of the Hungarian energy sector for 16 months with PwC enabling strategic initiatives of the company. Largest programme in Hungary at the time with over 12 management consultancies and 270 employees involved.
PMO team member: As a team member of the PMO I participated in the coordination of 22 projects grouped under 6 sub-programmes, encompassing almost all areas within the organisation. Responsible for programme monitoring, reporting and quality assurance framework, provided project management guidelines, templates for the implementation projects. Prepared roadmap, regular status reports, presentations on key milestones and achievements, risks and issues, decision preparatory documents to the Programme Manager and Board of the company.
- Workstream lead of subsidiary implementation of new group policies: Responsible for coordination and quality assurance and review of the subsidiary implementation of the 40 new group level policies and associated more than 300 processes coordinating 3 people.
- Workstream lead of ICT design implementation: responsible for implementation of ICT design into policies and procedures. Developed 2 group level ICT policies and associated 28 processes (in Visio, and later in ARIS), with corresponding DoA and RACI, coordinating 1 person.
Sustainability report audit product development with a PwC Senior Manager (including market research, forecasting, planning).
Coordination and delivery of internal audit and sustainability audit projects.
Contribute to Project and Programme Management Competence Centre with development of PMO framework, starters kit.
Delivery of statutory compliance projects; process, IT and sustainability report audit across various sectors.
Subsidiary setup: assisted in setting up the operations of the Hungarian subsidiary of a leading Russian mining and metals company with the director.
Assisted in the implementation of sales, inventory, investment processes and internal controls.
Reporting: Prepared daily, weekly, monthly reports on sales, quarterly reports on overall performance of the company to the Regional Directors in Romania (including quantitative analysis, market research/information, forecasting and planning).
Investment Planning and reporting: Responsible for the implementation of investment policies and processes. Prepared Business Cases for warehouse and production line. Budget planning and submission to the Group’s Investment Committee. After 14 months I was offered to manage the investments of the East-Central Europe region.
As a business process management trainee I acquired my foundations in process mapping, evaluation and design. Learned the basics of ARIS and business process modelling.
