• Preparation of firefighting, fire alarm design layout and emergency lighting system as per the client requirement with respect to standard codes, i.e. NFPA 72 & UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice.
• Review plan layouts and prepare bill of quantities as per the approved plan from client and/or from the design team to a standard of presentation and format
• Preparation of prequalification documents such as company profile, company and employee certificates, technical submittals, etc. required by the client to be submitted to the approving authorities i.e., UAE Civil Defense
• Coordinate with the sales team for the unit prices of the equipment based on the approved BOQ and coordinate with the Accounts team in the preparation and issuance of invoices
• Provide wide range of technical and non-technical support to other team as assigned by the Manager
• Perform supervision and site inspections.
• Visiting sites for preliminary familiarization and understanding other traits and disciplines.
• Assists the Project Supervisor in preparing drawings, schedules, specifications and BOQ.
• Liaising directly with project manager, and consultants concerning the project plans, and budget constraints.
• Familiarizing with project before its commencement.
• Coordinating with safety officer and client’s representative for safety site induction for all site staff along with submittal of safety permits, method statement and risk assessment statement.
• Coordinating with the supervisor and client’s representative for site design updates and changes.
• Ensuring that all manpower is properly designated and places in order to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Report to Project Manager for weekly updates and status of the project.
• Attending weekly site meetings with supervisor and client’s representative to discuss concerns and project’s status.
• Experience in quoting bill of materials conferring with Project Manager and Project Supervisor.
• Intervene unsafe acts and response in emergency situations.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations..
