Research: Currently working on the On-farm grain bulk storage of paddy, Applications of electronics based technology for Indian warehouse and Functional product development from millet grains.
Teaching: Teaching Transport Phenomena for Ph. D; Heat and Mass Transfer, Storage Engineering and Food Packaging to Post graduate and; Thermodynamics and Engineering Drawing for B. Tech Food Process Engineering Programs.

Associate Professor and Head (September 2010 to September 2015\}
Administration: As a Head of Department for Academics and HRD, administrated the activities related to academics, faculties and staff, affiliation works and executed for B. Tech, M. Tech and Ph. D academic programs starting from admission to graduation, coordinated in establishing the infrastructure facilities for teaching classrooms and laboratories for the entire curriculum under one roof, Online classes for Doctoral and Masters degree programs, Industrial tie ups for teaching and training and placements and facilitating the for higher studies.
Administrative in-charge for ISO certified Food Processing Business Incubation Center at IICPT and assisted in setting the food processing incubation centre at IICPT Regional Centre, Guwahati.
Coordinated the faculty teams for the capacity building at the institute in the fast pace, technical assistance for the Director, nodal officer as per the direction of the Director for the new tie ups between IICPT with the national and international institutions/ organizations.
Conducted and Coordinated the outreach activities outside and at the institute for various stake holders of farmers, entrepreneurs, self help groups and industrialists
Coordinated International and National Conferences, Workshops and Trainings for huger participants from technical institutions and industries.
Research: Worked on CAP storage of grains, Safe storage guidelines for pulses, Bulk and thin layer drying of pulses and Vacuum packaging cum storage of fresh green chilles, coordinated in creating the on-farm storage facilities at IICPT

Senior (August 2009- August 2010)
Academic coordinator: The academic activities were initiated starting from setting the syllabus and curriculum for the academic programs started at IICPT from 2009 academic year onwards, getting approval from affiliated University, monitoring the day to day activities of classes and students, fixing the outsourcing faculties for teaching basic subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English to I year B. Tech (FPE) course, and assisted in establishing the teaching laboratories for the basic subjects and Engineering Drawing courses.
Teaching: Taught Food Process Engineering Subjects to B. Tech & M. Tech (FPE) programmes
