The Domes is a 1, 700 capacity venue in Abu Dhabi. It is a semi-permanent dome structure suited for multi purpose events from weddings, conferences, exhibitions, dinners, concerts, markets, graduations and more. Taste of Abu Dhabi is an annual food festival taking place in Abu Dhabi and falls under the Taste Global brand. We have over 20, 000 attendees yearly.
• Reports directly to Managing Director and Chairman
• Developed the venue from ground up - from marketing, promotions, special venue deals, proposals, sales, in house promotions, on site event management, set up etc.
• Responsible for all sales including finding new clients
• Controlled venue forecasts, budget, accounts and P&L for in house events and external accounts, costs, projections etc.
• Worked one-on-one with clients and event companies to produce successful events within the venue including on site management, helping with queries, power, operations, on site services, F&B - Catering and more.
• A-Z organization and management of in house self promotions/events
• Held responsible for the success of the venue and covering monthly costs
• Senior Events Manager in charge of Taste of Abu Dhabi on site, dealing directly with clients and exhibitor sales, sponsor sales, activations, partnerships
