Computation of company and personal income tax
Preparation of Value added tax (VAT) and withholding tax (rent, construction contracts, management fees)
Preparation of financial forecast/prospective financial information
Preparation of severance pay and terminal benefits for employees
Preparation of management accounts for decision making (monthly and quarterly)
Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per IFRS/IAS
Review of financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS
Alliant CPA (Pty) Ltd is a firm of chartered accountants and management consultants. The following are some of the main functions I carried out;
• Preparation/review of annual financial statements to ensure compliance with IAS/ IFRS
• Preparation of management accounts for monitoring performance and decision making
• Preparation of audit files and attending to audit matters/ queries there by reducing auditors time in field work
• Preparation of budgets and budget control
• Preparation of payroll and submission of statutory returns
• Review of internal controls, processes and recommending changes for improvement. Restructuring and setting up of accounting departments/units

I was a bank teller for four years and was later elevated to the position of accounting officer. I was in charge of all tellers and was co-custodian to vault assets.
I am ACCA part Qualified. The certificate I hold is an Advanced Diploma issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I am currently studying ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and remaining with two subjects to complete.
