• Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repair of onboard entertainment and communications equipment (I.F.E.C).
• Work extensively on critical Headend LRU maintenance and repair (I.F.E.C).
• Identify and navigate through the appropriate aviation engineering and maintenance documentation through the AGILE database to conduct repair actions. e.g. Repair CMM's, SB's, TIL's, SIL's.
• Record required information of all maintenance/repairs on service record sheet and update the Oracle/RAMCO database with the appropriate parts used for the repair.
• Generate ORACLE/ RAMCO repair cost quotation worksheets to be transmitted to end customer (Airline) and liaise with repair admin to approve the same.
• Liaise with Customer Support Engineering team to assess and diagnose problems with the critical Headend LRU's on the aircraft and suggest actions to rectify and repair the problem.
• Liaise with Internal Technical Publications team to report errors in technical documents e.g. CMM's, SB's, SIL's TIL's and suggest changes.
• Update oneself with Online/Instructor led aviation training like EASA Part 145, I.P.C Soldering Specialist, Human Factors, ISO 14001, HazCom etc.
