• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the eficient delivery of goods, supervising staf, and securing the warehouse.
• Receive, check/inspect delivered materials. Report for any OS&D after storing in the warehouse & and laydowns and keeping track of the incoming delivery schedule.
• Produce cost reports and presentations suitable for management (monthly, quarterly, and annually) as required, giving planned, actual, and forecast costs, for all ongoing projects and contracts, in line with the agreed WBS.
• Monitor Cost Efect (Estimates) from PROCUREMENT (Equipment, Bulk Material Cost, and Logistics), CONSTRUCTION (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation), and SCHEDULE if any.
• Leading the Supply Chain (Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, Inspection, and Shipping) strategy and development in Canada of Broadway Subway Project company.
• Coordinating and managing the logistical aspects of several BSCGP EPC Projects. Responsibilities included managing Special, Container, and General cargo Bidding processes, optimizing the selection of means of transport in terms of cost/time/safety, Vendor Management (Manufacturers, Stockists, Freight Forwarders, …), renegotiating delivery conditions, cost control and Project advisory role on transport strategies.
• Managing all aspects of the Purchasing (Direct and Indirect) Department within a fleet administration contract-hire BCIB.
Responsibilities entailed the design and implementation of workflows from scratch, formulation, and execution of purchasing strategies, framework agreements with Vendors, reporting internally and to final Clients at the board level, and mentoring and coordinating the Purchasing team.
• Providing day-to-day customer service and maintaining collaborative value-driven relationships with business stakeholders by listening to their needs, understanding their business strategy, and implementing strategies to achieve jointly established goals with the team
• Leading by example using Broadway Subway Contracting & Procurement (C&P) vision, policies, and procedures, standardized across the team and business stakeholders
• Utilizes SAP, ERP & WMS Systems Accomplishment
• Energetically leading a team of 12 direct reports responsible for 16 contract vendor relationships, all medium to high risk, strategic and tactical, accumulated contract value of $200M, annual spend of $270M for the following categories: Materials (Chemicals, Catalyst), Equipment (Steel Beams, Utility Trays, Concrete Blocks, Pipes, Valves, Rotating and Static Equipment) Road Transport, Marine, Rail, Freight Forwarding, Logistics Management Services and Materials Management.
• Delivering third-party spend value/savings to the business of more than $10M annually which is one of several key performance metrics established as a team and reviewed monthly
• Co-led with Broadway City Hall (BCH) Operations Manager contract deep dive that delivered over $6M in savings
