• Review Tender Documents to study the type of project based on Drawing, Specification, BOQ,
Scope of works and other reports and prepare Tender Report for Top Management review.
• Prepare list of supplier/ subcontractor items that need to be floated. Review the packages
prepare by QS. Follow up with the procurement to ensure quotations are received on time.
• Prepare Tender Queries for Tenders incorporating queries from MEP, Infrastructure and
subcontractor clarifications.
• Manage a team of 4 QS effectively by prioritizing and dividing the work effectively to deliver the
assigned task with high standards within the target time frame.
• Review of Quantities filled from QS service and responding to their queries and clarifications.
• Assist Senior Estimator in BOQ preparation works, inserting CCS Candy file takeoff quantity &
filling of subcontractor rates.
• Ensure Design and Build Tenders BOQs are prepared based on POMI /NRM Method.
• Prepare Cost estimates for Value Engineering works, upon completion and approval reflecting
it in BOQ.
• Prepare cost proposal for ongoing jobs including Takeoff sheets, BOQ with Addition and
omission amounts.
• Preparation of the cost BOQ and Price BOQ by filling all civil quantities and cost including all
quantity and cost from MEP Dept.
• Review of PTC documents prepare list of changes and revising cost accordingly.
• Attend Mid Tender Meeting, Briefings, Prebid Meetings, subcontractor meetings for Tenders and
Value Engineering.
• Liaise with Technical and site team in developing design and built material and design changes.

• Quantity Takeoff from the drawing using Plan Swift and prepare measurement sheet.
• Preparation of the cost BOQ and Price BOQ by filling all civil quantities and cost including all
quantity and cost from MEP Dept.
• Preparing Quotation request for Civil works by sending (BOQ + Specifications + Drawing) to the concern supplier from the vendor list or previous supplier.
• Maintained database of construction estimates and final costs. Received and evaluated bids from subcontractors. Examined overages to ensure future figures were on target.
Post Contract Works
• Preparation, submission, and agreement of Interim Payment and ensuring that income from interim applications is received on time.
• Study, consolidate and prepare variations and cost estimates then finalizing them with concern
Engineers from Project Management consultants.
• Review, Monitor and Preparation of Variation log for all the projects.
• Preparation of Payment breakdown from Approved Contract BOQ and formularizing them.
• Monitored ongoing construction costs to assist management.
• General commercial management of sub-contractors, Placing sub contactor orders and
agreement of subcontract final accounts.
• Developed metrics for measuring cost-effectiveness of materials and techniques.
• Conducting Internal Audit for Estimation Department to monitor the implementation, maintenance, documentation, performance, effectiveness, of quality management system.
• Responding to internal NCR and Observation Report from Quality Team after taking necessary action as per the instruction.
• Provide assistance to Project Managers on commercial matters.
• Guiding site Team (Project Engineers) on how to submit documents for Variations.
• Conducting quality inductions for technical team, Document controllers and Site team.

• Preparing and submitting Documents:
a) Monthly Progressive Payments for running Projects. b) Submission of Tender BOQ & Discounted Final BOQ. c) Variation Submission and follow up with concern Project supervision Consultants in finalizing the claims.
d) Preparation of Final Close out Files and Final Handing Over Documents.

Project : Accommodation ISRO (Trivandrum, Kerala)
• Responsible for demolition work of existing structure and construction of new buildings.
• Preparing Work Inspections, Material Inspection, Daily Progress Report.
• Responsible for sampling and testing of concrete, soil and steel.
• Responding to NCR, SDR, and SOR after taking necessary action as per the instruction.
• Conducting quality inductions for technical team, Document controllers and Site team.
• Preparing and submitting Documents:
a) Monthly QA/ QC KPIs. b) Material Submittal.
c) Method of Statements. d) Shop Drawings and As- built drawings.
• Preparation of Final Close out Files and Final Handing Over Documents.
• Reporting Senior Engineer regarding site work daily.
• Verifying survey and levelling as per approved drawing during the construction.

• Responsible for overall work at site and checking the sites progress.
• Overseeing the construction layout and map designing.
• Calculating quantities for the project and prepare feasibility study after site visit.
• Checking that all government policies and guidelines are being followed.
• Maintaining the daily and monthly reports of working.
