Worked at Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) as an auto painte. Assigned for maintaining all kinds of field transportation unit light/heavy vehicle by means of repair body paint, fix dents due to damaged by collision or restoration of a vehicle unit. Here’s how i perform in the SGS camp/workshop. -Perform minor denting works by means of repair dent, remove accessories that are not included to be painted, and fixing the proper alignment and clearances between panels before painting process. -Prepared all vehicle/equipment for painting jobs by filling and sanding. -Sand dentad or repaired surfaces using hand and relevant tools such as orbital sander, grinder etc. -Fill cavities and dents with body filler and body fiber. -Sand evenly and apply primer surfacer. -Mask/tape other areas that are not included to be painted. -Spray prepared surfaces with specified amount of primers and finish coatings. -Perform buffalo and finishing duties at the end of each paint job. -Apply stickers and logos of SGS in the required panel. -Disassemble, clean and re-assemble sprayers or power equipment using solvents, wire-brushes and clothes. -Maintain a clean work space by removing trash and debris from workplace surroundings before and after working.

-Remove grease, dirt, rust or damaged paint from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application using abrasives, solvents, brushes or power tools. -Sand vehicle surfaces between coats of paint or primer to remove flaws and enhance adhesion for subsequent coats. -Remove accessories such as chrome or mirrors from vehicle, and mask other surfaces with tape or paper to protect them from paint. -Fill dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicle painting. -Spray prepared surfaces with specified amount of primers and finish coatings. -Mix paint to match the vehicle original colour. -Check the color first if it's of the same lightness, darkness, or shade before applying body color and blend if necessary. -Pour paint into spray gun and adjust nozzles and paint mixes for proper paint flow and coating thickness. -Monitor painting operations to identify flaws such as blisters or streaks and correct their cause. -Adjust controls or infrared ovens, heat lamps, portable ventilators, or exhaust units to speed up the drying of vehicles between coats. -Allow the sprayed products to dry and touch up any missed spots. -Apply rust resistant undercoats. -Operate lifting or moving devices to move vehicles to access areas to be painted. -Use brush to hand paint areas in need of retouching or are otherwise unreachable by spray gun. -Sand and apply sealer to properly dried vehIdle finish. -Buff and wax the finished paint work.

Read job card and inspect vehicle damaged area to be painted to see if matching
Maintained paint booth by replacing filters and fan belts
Inventory supplies and materials needed to complete auto body painting jobs
Check and inspect every detail of the vehicle, including alignment, grooves and linings that should be repaired or repainted
Ensure all body repairs were done properly before paint process
Sand dented or repaired surfaces using hand and relevant tools such as power sanding and grinder

Disassemble, clean and reassemble sprayers or power equipment using solvents, wire brushes and cloth
Apply rubbing compound/wax or sealer to properly dried vehicle, then buff and wax the finished paint
