Responsible for working closely with design team, contractors and end client on multiple projects while managing resources within the company to prioritise and carry out all required tasks:
Key Duties:
 Leading a design team of junior engineers and technicians to ensure drawings, reports etc. Are accurate and issued on time.
 Carry out detailed design of structural elements in accordance with local standards and building regulations.
 Prepare scheme designs for projects during planning/tender stage.
 Carry out design risk assessments as required at various stages of projects.
 Work closely with design team to ensure clients requirements are met during both design and construction stage of a project.
 Liaise with contractors on site to ensure work undertaken is in accordance with design drawings and all queries are dealt with efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
 Carry out site inspections and prepare inspection reports as part of the companies role as ancillary certifier during construction stage.
 Meeting with clients and contractors for current and upcoming projects.
 Carry out internal audits and peer reviews of ongoing projects within the office.

Worked as part of the construction team carrying out retro fit works to the FAB 14 and FAB 24 Manufacturing Plants at the Intel Ireland Headquarters in Leixlip.
Key Duties
 Reviewing design calculations for steel framed buildings.
 Preparing design calculations and drawings for any additional work e.g. structural steel beam configuration changes, holding down bolt amendments.
 Prioritising and delegating work to the M+W structural team.
 Vibration monitoring during construction.
 Reviewing accuracy of submittals for issuing to design team.
 Management of technical submittals and design information requests. e.g. compiling spreadsheet to track status and location of all documents. Closing out on completion of submittals.
 Marking up drawings and prepare co-ordination submittals.
