As a translation Officer, i was mainly focusing on translation of legal and technical documents as well as the day to day correspondences from Arabic into English as vice versa. I was also doing some proof-reading tasks.
As a Sr. Publication Specialist, I am responsible for the overall document quality and content management starting from data collection up to the design and printing process. I'm basically focusing on translation, proofreading, quality check, design and production of a document. Further, i do support in other Media-related functions including event management, and drafting media-related policies and procedures.
I was responsible for overall quality of a produced document i.e. any document written or translated by others, i was responsible for ensuring that the produced language is appropriate in both Arabic and English. i was also doing translations of technical books such as regulations and policies.
I had studied Business Admin at UAEU where i covered different courses in business, marketing, accounts, leadership, governance and strategy development
I have studied translation where we covered different types of translation courses such as legal, medical and translation for communication courses. I have also taken some courses in Journalism
