•Optimal loading of generators for maintaining power on tie-bus bars within limits.
•Manual load shedding when a boiler trips to avoid network blackouts.
•Synchronizing of different sources like Generator to Generator, Generator with Grid supply.
•Planning and implementing load shedding based on load requirements to prevent network blackouts.
•Issuing of High tension Electrical work permits in the entire plant.
•Handling of shift manpower in the entire plant.
•Making generation and Distribution reports and submitting to HOD’s for entire plant
•Taking Rounds of all plants and reporting the observations to Area managers.
Maintenance Experience as an area manager:
•Generator shutdown planning without effecting plant loads and maintaining tie-bus bar load within limits.
•Rectification of problems which are reported by shift in charges.
•Identifying and ordering of spares through SAP.
•Continuous monitoring on the spares.
•Maintenance including condition monitoring, planning & follow up.
•Shut down planning and man power handling.
•Preventive Maintenance & Predictive maintenance implementation in the respective area.
