• Managing MEP estimation / design & project department and ensure all the works are done
as per requirement.
•Monitoring MEP works on site and ensure the works are done as per approved shop
drawings & Authority requirements.
• Negotiating technical & commercial aspect with MEP subcon, lighting & IT/AV
subcontractors before finalization of subcontract agreement.
• Review and Comment on all the calculations, drawings & technical submittals submitted by Subcontractors prior submission to consultant.
• Inspecting the works done at site by MEP contractor
• Reviewing the quotations received from MEP, lighting & IT/AV subcontractors and ensure all the requirements are captured in the proposal as per RFP.
• Negotiating with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product, based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies.
• Arranging meetings with sub contractors to clear any RFI’s they have with regards to site execution.
• Attending pre-bid & Post tender meetings with client.
• Attending Internal Kick-Off Meetings .
• Providing guidance & technical support to the team.
• Providing budget for the awarded project to procurement team and ensure the project is executed in allocated budget.

• Reviewing the quotations received from MEP, lighting & IT/AV subcontractors and ensure all the requirements are captured in the proposal as per RFP.
• Preparing cost comparison sheets for all supply & Sub-contractor items.
• Negotiating with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product, based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out valueengineering studies.
• Arranging meetings with sub contractors to clear any RFI’s they have with regards to site execution.
• Receive the tender, review and prepare RFPs and float for tender and bidding to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attending pre-bid & Post tender meetings with client.
• Attending Internal Kick-Off Meetings & ensure hand over all the contract documents to the Project team & clarify all doubts, as and when required.
• Providing guidance & technical support related to MEP to the team.
• Preparing variations, providing backup and submit to client/consultant for approval.
• Preparing MEP method statement required for tender submission.
• Providing budget for the awarded project to procurement team and ensure the project is executed in allocated budget.
• Receive the enquiries, review and allocate to the Estimators and ensure timely completion/submission of tender documents as per Client requirements/standards.
• Review cost estimates & check if it is in accordance with client requirements and check risk analysis for justification of contingency if any for submission to management to apply mark up and arrive at tender submission price.
• Negotiation with clients for tender proposals submitted.
• Monitor subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Providing budget for the awarded project to project team.
• Determine necessary resources for projects within budgetary constraints and calculate estimated costs.
• Ensure that projects are met and adhering to approved budgets.

• Review tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final submission.

•Inspecting all the Mechanical and Plumbing WIR’s.
•Inspecting the work done on site by the contractor as per approved shop drawings.
•Inspecting the materials installed on the site as per the approved List.
•Maintaining proper record of the list of drawings and material flow.
•Sizing of diffusers, grills and louvers as per CFM. Static pressure calculation for Supply fans and FCU’s.
•Having Factory visit for the inspection of the material approved for the project.
•Review and Comment on all the calculations, drawings & technical submittals submitted by Main contractor.
•Prepare and Estimate BOQ’s.
•Preparing site safety report, weekly progress report and MEP minutes of meeting. Inspect and comment on the progress claim submitted by Main contractor.
•Interaction with other discipline engineers to avoid fouling of discipline items each other.
•Clarify all the RFI raised by the Main contractor
•Job involves handling the enquiries for all the products like Exhaust fans, Pre insulated
Duct, Duct Accessories and Air Curtains.
•Meeting Clients / Contractors / Consultants for the new projects approval and follow ups of the existing projects.
•Duct designing using equal friction method, constant velocity and static regain method. Sizing of diffusers, grills and louvers as per CFM.
•Technical Selection, pricing and negotiations. Order confirmation to the factory.
•Regular follow up with client’s orders and deliveries.
•Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites and in industrial facilities.
•Freight Calculation, logistics and follow ups.
•Regular Site visits, having good co-ordination with workers. Keeping Stock updates.
•Having good communication with Clients, Consultants.
