In the role of Account Opening Desk In-charge at NBP SMCHS Branch, I ensure meticulous adherence to the bank's policies and regulatory requirements in all aspects of the account opening process. My primary focus is on delivering proactive and client-centric account opening services, aligning with the Banking Company Ordinance of 1962.
As a Forex & Trade Officer at NBP FTC Branch, I have undertaken a range of duties to ensure the smooth execution of foreign exchange and trade-related transactions since November 9, 2021.
• To execution all trade related transactions
• To put up all outwards remittances’ cases on SBP Portal
• To process outward foreign remittances, preparation of SWIFT Messages and FETs
• To process inwards remittances, preparation of FET and credit into respective account
• To maintain Nostro Account reconciliation / IBR reconciliation
• To issuance and maintenance deposit certificate- \[TDR, SNDR\]
• To balancing of relevant GLs
• Preparation and timely submission of FETs, SBP returns (ITRS), FE-25 & TDR MIS related statements/ annexures to Regional Office/HO/SBP.
• E-remittance and Western Union Payment along with proper filling of remittance record
As a Credit Officer at NBP Corporate Branch Karachi-1862, I have been entrusted with core responsibilities, contributing to the efficient handling of advances and trades operational activities.
• Intra, internal and external funds transferred via online &/or RTGS.
• Provide effective products information to the corporate s’ clients and resolving their quires.
• Lodgment trade products, account opening of the advances & trades products, maintenance till closed this account when it’s fully adjusted at once.
• To performed pledged management activities such as Dawning power monitoring, verified adequacy against accrued exposure with the valuation of pledged stocks and pledged stock positions verified by branch s’ internal record.
• Hypothecated drawing power registered is maintained, also verifying drawing power cushion against customer’s current borrowing position and highlight any missing requisite information are not being entered on the client’s hypothecated stock & receivable report.
• To actively participate day to day branch operational activities from cheque clearing to hand over posted vouchers.
• On the requirement of branch management, other groups and /or an official to gather advances data and converted it into MIS form then to share them.
• Time to time correspondence is too made via telecom, email & letters with different groups or/and an official on various operational matters and share them required information like markup invoices, product’s account position etc.
• Another miscellaneous work assigned by the Branch Management (Operations & Branch Manager)
As a Credit MIS Analyst in the Corporate Coordination Division of the Corporate Banking Group at the National Bank of Pakistan, I responsibilities spanned various aspects of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal coordination.
• Prepared and verified various MIS regulatory reports, with a specific mention of the fortnightly statement of FE 25.
• Managed monthly statements of financing against shares and Fund Flow.
