Main Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for implementing IT projects in healthcare facilities.
• Identify needs and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and manage IT solutions, with focus on both qualitative and quantitative aspects.
• Integrate different medical systems with HIS and PACS systems using HL7 and DICOM standards.
• Manage monitoring networks in hospitals, including bedside monitors, central stations, central printers, application and backup servers.
• Manage, monitor and analyze breakdown calls and related activities
• Assist and provide technical advices to team members in trouble shooting when required.
• Manage and supervise installation, testing and commissioning of new assets.
• Attend site meetings to finalize installation plans which meet customer expectations.
• Plan and schedule for installations and required manpower
• Provide installation and warranty cost estimate for new tenders.
• Verify that PPM for Medical Equipment executed as directed by manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Planning, scheduling and implementing of a PPM program.
• Monitor status of PPM work orders.
Operations and Administration Tasks:
• Fully adhere to all defined global processes, policies and standards and to local law
• Take responsibly on all operational activity for the assigned BU
• Assign work to team members, supervises execution
• Assist other engineers in solving work problems.
• Help, support team members to perform and progress in their role.
• Verify all activities entered by the BU members in CMMS
• Maintain time and activity records of team members.
• Monitor and evaluate Team`s KPIs.
• Perform and submit employee performance evaluation of the team to the management
• Manage a minimum spare parts stock.
• Promote service contracts and sales of genuine spare parts
• Arrange with manufacturer for technical training for BU members and customers
• Communicate with vendors for specific technical problems.
• Recommend and participate in developing measures to improve efficiency and quality
• Interpret company policies to service team and enforces safety regulations.
• Manage services contracts, follows-up contracts payment
• Looking for customer's needs and create satisfaction plans.
• Provide yearly budget for business unit, and take necessary measures to commit to it.
• Support service admin team with tender preparation by providing competitive prices and service standard
Medical IT supervisor with strong supervisory, relationship management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain and administer all systems.

• Implement, configure and maintain the following IT systems:
- Draeger Innovian Solution Suite: Web-based clinical information system designed to access patient information at the bedside.
- Draeger M300 Telemetry Monitoring System: Provides the performance of a full-size patient monitor, packaged in a patient-worn telemetry device for adult and pediatric patients
- Olympus Endoscopy Software (Endobase): Imaging system for archiving and processing videos and still images, patient and examination data documentation.
- Steris OR Integration System (Harmony iQ): Routes images, video, audio and data to any monitor, recording device or remote location, and controls OR infrastructure like lights, music systems, and teleconferencing.
- Steris CSSD Management System ( CS-IQ): Workflow Software dashboard, which brings real-time data into the SPD to optimize decisions, scheduling and management of instruments, equipment and staff.
- Omnicell Medication Management System: An intelligent perpetual inventory management system for the entire central pharmacy inventory and automates the ordering, receiving, stocking and picking processes.
• Implement monitoring systems, clinical information systems, patient data management systems and OR integration system.
• Install and maintain the following Draeger devices:
- Patient Monitors: Infinity Delta/ Delta XL/ Kappa/ Kappa XLT/Gamma/ Gamma XL / Vista.
- Central Station: MVWS and ICS.
- Ventilators: Evita Family, Babylog 8000Plus, Oxylog Family.
- Anaesthesia Machines: Cato, Cicero, Fabius family, Primus, Zeus and Zeus IE.
- Incubators: Caleo and C2000.
Responsible for sales and maintenance of:
- Siemens products:
Hearing Aids:
Digital, Analogue, Conventional, Pocket Type.
Fitting, refitting and maintenance.
- Amplaid:
Audiometers: A137, A321, A321 HF
Tympanometer: 756 Screening, A728
ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response): MK22 Millennium
Having hands on around 150 Clients:
- Designing network infrastructure.
- Doing structure cabling.
- Implementing wired and wireless networks.
- Installing and configuring Windows 2000 Professional/Server
- Managing Domain Controllers, assigning user profiles and managing groups,
configuring DHCP and Active Directory, assigning and monitoring system
security.
- Implementing Leased Lines and configuring ADSL modems.
- Configuring ISA Server.
- Servers hardware installation and configuration.
- Database programs using Delphi6
I passed the six month course with excellent evaluation, where I studied health statistics, health economics, business economics and informatics.
