Preparing financial statements remotely

 Ensure the effective achievement of finance functional objectives through the leadership of the finance department - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.
 Ensure the safeguard of company fixed assets in order to facilitate optimum utilization and security of company resources

Key Responsibilities:

•Ensure the effective achievement of finance functional objectives through the leadership of the finance department - setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.
•Ensure the safeguard of company fixed assets in order to facilitate optimum utilization and security of company resources
•Supervise the handling of the accounting records, control the transaction and make sure they are executed in accordance to the group approved finance policy and procedure
•Ensure proper and effective use of Oracle systems. Audits develop and explain the procedure to be followed by the concerned department in order to assure better control and accuracy of financial information
•Direct the preparation of the finance department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
•Ensure that all financial reports are accurate and prepared on time as per given time limit
•Coordinate with the external company’s auditors to prepare and finalize yearend financial statements as scheduled by the management
•Establishing the company forecast on quarterly basis and the yearly budget within the scope of the company’s development plan. Strategies and its objectives
•Ensuring conformance to the optimum organization structure for finance department so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner
•Responsible for negotiating all bank facilities (Overdraft, L/C L/G. loans, interest rates Etc…) in order to ensure availability of funds to meet obligations
•Carrying out all types of taxes functions and issuing due reports to the tax advisor and to management.
•Examining records of departments to ensure proper recording of transaction and compliance with applicable laws
•Developing, setting up, and maintaining reporting system that provide control of tax expenditures.
