- Perform and implement all custom clearance activities such as following up coming
Shipment, documents transactions and day-to-day related activities in accordance
with the objectives, policies and procedures.
- Following up with operation department and Clients for reception of complete set
of shipping documents for customs clearance purposes, and ensure its compliance
with Egypt Customs regulations and exemption lists requirements.
- Follow up shipments and documents with the freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Issuing The invoices, Electronic Invoices & packing list for the shipment.
- Pre-registration of shipments on the ACI platform and uploading all shipping
documents to it.
- Review all uploaded shipment documents on ACI Platform and review invoice
items.
- Make an Electronic signature with smart token to all shipments documents after
reviewing them.
- Preparing periodic reports with respect to Custom Clearance Section's activities and
achievements to be submitted to the Support Services Section Head.
Receive technical specifications of materials, equipment and operating supplies
from Inventory.
- Solicit price quotations from suppliers.
- Compares and evaluates offers from suppliers.
- Negotiates contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Issue purchase orders, ensure the compliance with needs plans and approved
budgets, submit them to the line manager for approval and follow its
implementation.
- Register Shipment Details on ACI System, issue the ACID Number & Upload all
necessary shipping documents on it.
- Tracks orders and ensures timely delivery.
- Reviews quality of purchased products.
