My previous role as the marketing department head, reporting directly to the general manager was to oversee the planning and
management of the marketing budget for Lamborghini, Audi & Skoda brands for the Kuwait market. I was responsible for all aspects
of the marketing process from implementing concepts, product launches, media/vendor management and generating results and
insights.
My team was responsible for developing & implementing marketing strategies, including digital marketing, for all existing and new
products. I worked alongside our corporate partners to ensure each brand's corporate identity is maintained at all times and all our
messaging is consistent. We create and launch all campaigns from the ground up and all work is done in-house.
I set the goals and targets for the day to day operations of the marketing team and ensure my direct reports are working in line to
meet all organizational needs and deadlines.
I conducted regular competitor analysis and am focused on staying ahead of the curve and competitive within the market. I shared
these insights with senior stakeholders to help drive business operations forward and remain progressive.
I oversee all reporting and trend analysis for my department and create engaging and dynamic reports and infographics which
provide insights into our KPIs. All reports are shared routinely with upper management to ensure transparency and high-level
visibility on team performance.
Oversaw new product launches, from inception to completion. I was responsible for setting and maintaining timelines for all
projects.
Working alongside the Marketing Manager, I oversaw the development and succession planning of junior team members and their
day-to-day goals and targets.
Responsible for development, planning & execution of the overall social media strategy. I implemented new SM strategy and grew
the social media presence to over 30K in the course of my first year in role.
Ensured the timely and successful execution of all national, regional and in-store marketing campaigns along with PR programs.
Responsible for the launch and verification of the all major social media channels into the company profile from inception and
gaining over 1.2 million local followers: Instagram (400K), Facebook (600K), Twitter (25K) & YouTube (2K).
Oversaw management of social media campaigns and day-to-day activities; ranging from daily posting plans, online advocacy,
developing editorials, promotions, social media advertising and contests.
Maintained positive and favorable business presence on various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube,
community sites) and created an engaged & loyal follower base that contributed to increased sales and revenue.
Worked in direct coordination with the Marketing, Content, Operation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the social
media and community activities were supportive and in line with the overall marketing objectives.
Worked closely with CRM team & call center to have twitter as the main customer service & complaint channels while others as
promotional & advertising mediums.
