Responsible for testing and operating all ground service equipment to ensure smooth performance.
Keeping all ground service equipment clean all the time
Performs preventative and routine maintenance servicing on all ground service equipment
Performs quarterly, semi-annual and annual preventive maintenance checks on all ground support equipment under my responsibility.
Prepares demand form if parts are needed and turn-in forms if equipment are needed for calibration.
Order, receive, issues, secure, and maintain the inventory of all tools and special equipment.
Ensures tools and support equipment are clean, oiled, and serviceable
Marks and identifies tools and equipment for quick inventory.
Arranges office files for future reference.
Troubleshoots computers if necessary.
Performs aircraft marshaling for departure and arrival flights.
Performs headset-man duties for departure and arrival flights.
Performs pushback and towing of aircrafts in the ramp using CONVENTIONAL and TOWBARLESS PUSHBACK TRACTORS. Identify the different types of tow-bars and associated connection/disconnection.
Identifies various permitted tow angles of different aircraft types and the instructions related to the pushback limitations.
Operates and connects AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS to both wide body and narrow body aircrafts when needed.
Operates and connects AIR STARTER UNITS to both wide body and narrow body aircrafts.
Operates and connects PASSENGER STEPS to wide body and narrow body aircrafts.
Operates the HI-LOADER and TRANSPORTER to load and unload cargos of wide body aircrafts.
Connects the GROUND POWER UNIT to both wide body and narrow body aircrafts.
Operates the CONVEYOR BELT LOADER to load and unload cargos of wide body and narrow body aircrafts.
Operates the MAINTENANCE PLATFORM (motorized) when tasked to do so.
Practices foreign object debris (FOD) awareness/prevention and safety at all times.
