Responsible for the design and project management of HVAC systems which will include planning,
organizing, and executing facility projects, while maintaining close interaction with other Project
Managers, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
Role and Responsibilities:-
* Determines project needs, constraints and responsibilities to meet all the customer’s facilities
requirements.
* Collects project data needed to assemble project scope.
* Prepare MEP assessments and prepare detailed engineering reports.
* Coordinate project specific engineering.
* Develop scope of work and project specifications.
* Coordinate project schedule between property and contractors.
* Develop equipment specifications.
* Prepare and issues purchase orders for owners.
* Prepare and administer install contracts for owners.
* Collect certificates of insurance and lien waivers from contractors.
* Approve invoices prior to submitting to owner.
* Provide complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage.
* Responsible for creating cost estimates of material, sub-contractors, purchased equipment and
other construction related activities to assist owners in capital budgeting process.
* Responsible for the specification and pricing of purchased equipment to ensure accuracy of
quantity, size, configuration, voltage, options etc.
* Optimizes job costs by negotiating prices with vendors/sub-contractors.
* Documents work by maintaining files for each
