Roles & Responsibilities:
 Complete Pre-project to end of the Project’s activities expanding from preparing
workshop drawings, Drawings approval, Material Submittals, Orders, Procurement of
Material, and Execution to meet quality assurance policies by following appropriate
specifications & standards.
 Check all scopes of work to be carried out as per approved shop drawings, Project
technical specifications & applicable standards.
 Conduct review of the design with respect to Authorities, International codes &
standards.
 Prepare Value engineering proposals and feasibility studies.
 Design a plan of action, moving from Design Stage to execution stage at site, obtaining
consultant’s approval on all installed mechanical systems.
 Review and evaluate technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to
clients.
 Handle procurement activities related to contracts and sub-contracts in accordance
with company’s procedures.
 Check all incoming materials to be in accordance with approved samples & submittals.

 Co-ordinate with Field Engineering group for resolution of any
Interferences/Engineering problems interlinked with other departments to meet the
scheduled work progress.
 Responsible for the site execution and progress to achieve the planned project
schedule.
 Attend weekly/monthly progress review & Quality meetings with the Client\Consultant.
 Responsible for the Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Mechanical systems.
 Prepare and submit compliance reports for the NCR and rectification works related to
Product, Process Investigation’s root analysis and initiate corrective actions to prevent
reoccurrence of NCR.
 Expertise in conducting false clearance, Snagging and De-snagging inspections at
required stage of the project.
 Follow up with vendors for Submission of O & M manual, Warranty certificate of
Equipment.
 Review and submit the project closeout documents as per project requirements.

Design and estimation of MEP systems for Multimillion Dollar developments. This
includes:
* Equipment summary schedule to have an overall idea about the Generation
side.
* Technical comparison between the different equipment to search for different
factors that would affect the design and price of the project.
* Assign quantity surveyors to measure quantities for lump sum items.
* Technical report about the design and cost of the project.
Projects performed:
1. Amiri Flight Facilities, Qatar
This was a challenging and had unfamiliar system related to fire
extinguishing. It was a VVIP hangar.
2. Jewel of the Creek, Dubai
The package forms a significant part of the Dhs 3.0 billion (USD 816 million)
Jewel of the Creek consists of five hospitality buildings ranging between 15
and 19 floors, featuring a hotel and serviced apartments, a ballroom and an
attached café; a marina, including four foot bridges and one vehicular bridge;
and hard and soft landscaping works. It included fit-out works in the
basements, complete MEP works for the buildings including state-of-the-art
systems associated with the latest technologies for smart buildings and
sustainable developments, and associated external works.
3. Palm Tower & Residences, Dubai
Client: Nakheel
The Tower will be the tallest in the Palm. It is consists of two parts

Assist the engineer in pricing.
 Prepare the Progress Information Report that includes a summary of scope of
work to different services of HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing and Drainage
system.
 Prepare quotations for different suppliers with the required items.
 Meet up with suppliers to agree on technical details after receiving their offer.
 Compare studies based on suppliers’ quotations.
 Prepare technical and commercial proposal in compliance with the client
requirements specified in the forms.
 Quantity survey for HVAC and Fire Fighting systems for different projects.

Handle Air handling units as a specialty.
 Hold frequent meetings in different parts of the country with consultants and
contractors.
 Prepare selection data and send offers to contractors, consultants.

Heat load calculations using HAP software.
 Calculate the sizes of ductwork and pipes.
