Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation (AME) /
Meet, register, assist, and advise individual cases according to scheduled sessions; including phone sessions as necessary and appropriate through CBOs or home visits.
Using standard criteria, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and agreed formats, interview cases assessing their situation and needs for regular cash assistance.
Advise cases of help and services available to them (information provision) if needed.
Follow referred cases to other services in collaboration with referral officer and the teams.
Organize a system for specific cases that requires follow up and specialized service such as specialized counseling, health, legal advice and so on.
Ensure that all information and data on the cases registered is kept confidential
Document and report on each interview and provide recommendations in order to discuss with the PUI cash committee.
Collect and update information on protection and general services available to beneficiaries through networking with referral officer.
Helps the outreach caseworkers to identify candidates eligible for cash.
Support the outreach teams in conducting focus groups /group discussions to disseminate relevant information for beneficiaries as necessary.
Prepares regular plans and reports on her/his activities and submit to her/his line manager;
Collects basic information from cases, document the information and practices, local practices that are best performing to the conditions.
Participate to the project planning and monitoring meetings and any other meeting as required
Ensuring compliance with all donor requirements and regulations
Report back regularly to the social protection project officer on trends observed in refugees’ circumstances, needs, concerns and questions.
outreach case worker
work as part of a mobile/outreach team to work with community members and CBOs to identify vulnerable households and conduct home visit assessments of potential beneficiaries in the host community acting in the most professional way and as per PU-AMI charter.
conducts protection monitoring exercises, including Key Informant Interviews, Focus Group Discussions, and household interviews.
organizes smoothly the appointments with persons in need in order to perform individual assessments, follow-up visits, and protection monitoring in safe spaces
makes sure that confidentiality of information is always respected while filling an assessment and informs the beneficiaries accordingly
S collects beneficiaries’ information following PU-AMI assessment form and makes sure that every information gathered is correct
establishes good relations with local CBOs and community members to get a clear understanding of the situation and needs in the communities
participates in the quality data collection for surveys and any relevant data collection or assessment implemented
