Controlling the overall plant operations, maintenance and repair works of rental equipment and for providing after sales support (spare parts/service/warranty issues) for sold equipment
Maintaining the whole rental product line consisting of CAT ( Track type tractor, hydraulic excavator, motor grader, wheel loader, hydraulic wheel loader, Tele-handler, Mini excavator, skid steer loader, forklift, Paver ) machines as well as allied equipment ( Genie articulating booms, Genie scissor lifts, Genie telescopic booms, JLG articulating booms, Terex tower lights, Brendon Power washers)
Adhering to company standard safety procedures whilst maintaining highest level of customer satisfaction.
Reporting to Rental Services Manager-Cat Rental Store
Direct Reports from Technicians, Service Coordinators, Crew Coordinators
Ensuring staff promote and conduct business professionally in order to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-BAHAR image.
Developing healthy and excellent relationship with all suppliers
Ensuring all vehicles are properly cleaned, maintained and utilized effectively
Ensuring tools and equipment are adequate and that facilities are properly utilized and kept in quality condition.
Evaluating manpower requirements for the various jobs and assigning the right number of technicians/operators to the various jobs.
Checking service reports, executing repairs, receiving quotes and approving it for both CAT as well as allied products.
Coordinating warranty claims with suppliers
Identifying personal development and training needs to follow up with Manager for training opportunities as well as evaluating the training needs of technicians and recommending training requirements.
Responsible for making sure all heavy machinery ( Terex cranes, Kato cranes, Tadano cranes, Caterpillar equipment ) bought as used or brand new from abroad ( US, Japan ) are properly maintained and ready to be sold to potential customers
Conducting PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) of all machines (new and used) before they are sold to the customer
Reporting directly to the General Manager
Coordinating with the mechanic and assisting him with any technical issues which are found in the machine
Performing required maintenance on MD-82 aircrafts
Inspection of Engines, hydraulics and its systems (A-checks)
Documenting parts needed to be changed, faults and any diagnosed condition
Removal and Installation of parts needed
