- Receiving reports for the daily receivables collected to review them and ensure that all receivables have been banked.
- Posting daily receivables for all branches in Egypt on SAP system
- Review all cash journals at the end of the month to ensure that the balance is zero and all cash collected have been banked.
- Contacting with the finance team to ensure that all cheques and transfers have been recorded correctly on the SAP.
- Reviewing bank transfers to ensure that all transfers have been performed successfully and there is no missing transfers.
- Try to identify any weaknesses in the recording process and putting controls to fix them.
- Doing the bank reconciliation on a daily basis.
- Participate in Audit Planning by identifying the key control points and the risk exposure of the activities under review.
- Determine the objectives, scope and procedures of the audit assignment.
- Highlight control weaknesses and review them.
- Doing the risk assessment and analysis for activities under review considering likelihood and impact.
- Providing the management with analysis, recommendation and information concerning the activities reviewed.
- Review of compliance with the entity’s policies, laws, plans, standards and regulations.
- Assist the company’s external auditors in their audit work.
- Appraisal of financial and operational performance of the entity.
- Review of compliance with the entity’s policies, laws, plans, standards and regulations.
- Participate in special investigations of fraud, abuse or illegal acts.
- Assist in maintaining a good internal control within the entity.
- Auditing payment documents to ensure accuracy and validity.
- Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
- Report the results of audit work conducted together with suggestions to correct discovered deficiencies.
- Preparing monthly and annually financial statements with analysis and auditing them.
- Coordinating with external auditors (E&Y) to issue the annual Financial Statements.
- Preparing monthly reports about the total costs assigned to each project and presenting analysis for head of departments if required.
- Computing the budgeted total cost for each new project using Traditional Absorption Costing method.
- Responsible for bank reconciliation and other reconciliations with suppliers and our branch in Saudi Arabia (Harf Saudi).
- Participate in auditing Financial Statements and related records.
- Calculating payroll, accrued taxes, accrued social Ins. (law No. 91 for 2005).
- Initiating all the accounting cycle on Ms Excel (In English).
- Translating Financial Statements & other documents into English.
Successfully completed the ACCA ( Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ) and passed the 14 papers. Now I am ACCA Affiliate and soon will be a member after the ACCA meeting to approve my membership.
