- My Job is Applications / sales Engineer (Pumps & Seals).
Responsible for:
· Make the complete project requirements offer for the rotating equipment from Flowserve
product (pumps + mech. seals (pumps, compressors, Mixers) to meet the client specs &
get the best quote from our Business units.
· Negotiate with our agents & Distributing companies for technical support & update them
with the new products updates also give the Business units the market feedback for
getting the best market approach (Water, Waste Water, Desalination, Industrial
Companies, API, Petrochemical, ........etc..)
· Finding new market approach & analyzing it to get the best market share secured to FLS
(by annual Seminars & special trainings for our product capabilities).
· End User site support for trainings & new solutions offered by Flowserve.
· Monitoring the performance of the distributers & the agents of sales to meet the customer
satisfaction.
· Supporting the QRC (Quick Repair Center) for any issues regarding upgrade or Quality
problems faced with the factory.
· Follow up engineering companies for tech. Negotiations, product presentations, Sites for
conversions of seals finding solutions meet the client satisfaction & increase our company
reputation as Solutions Company.
· Follow up our client's feedback about the acceptance of our quotes Tech. & Financial.
· Make Design & consultants approach for getting the best specs feedback & market
knowledge for the products weakness & strength.
· Make sales forecast & follow up order fulfillment with the factories we are more than 100
Factory all over the world (production, Test, Shipping, site visits for trouble shoots faced
by our clients).

It is award for appreciating of my efforts & the improvements done in FLS Cairo office for
Application works & in supporting in hitting the Sales target of the NON API pumps product in
2013.
Plus due to Application engineering effort done in my area supporting Mech. seal sales & hitting
the target of sales 98.5%, after the lower rates in previous years...)

Responsible for :

• Reviewing designs for our client contractor (drawings, calculation & submittals)
• Preparing the Specs & initial design for our client.
• Evaluating the technical offers.
• Negotiate with contractors and vendors for the any clarification, supporting the project engineer, site engineers & proposals engineers for clarifications & approval of the work procedures.

- The projects I have contributed in:
• El tour for waste water treatment
• El Suez Gulf (industrial zone) waste water treatment
• The Industrial Village el Riada Saudi Arabia.
• Evaluation of Madinty waste water treatment capacity ( 160, 000 m3/day).
• Evaluation of El Qasim waste water treatment.

Responsible for :

• Selecting the design process, prepare calculations for the process, piping& fabrication.
• Selecting the equipments as pumps, air blowers & compressors, calculate & select pipes sizes & valves.
• Make drawings for the plant layout, for piping general arrangement of the plant, fabrications for tanks, pipe supports, filters, as built drawings for handing over to the client.
• Revising the civil structure drawings for plants.
 Negotiate with contractors, consultants and vendors for the any clarification, supporting the project engineer, site engineers & proposals engineers.
• Make bill of quantities for the pipes, valves, accessories of piping & supports steel structure.

The plants techniques that I have designed:

Sewage treatment plants: Sequential Batch Reactors (SBR) technique, Extended Aeration and Rectangular Diffused Air (RDA) technique .

Water well treatment: Iron & Manganese removal & Reverse Osmoses (RO).
