In my current position, After successfully graduating from the program, I am working as a Network Consulting Engineer as a part of Cisco Advanced Services Team in Dubai on the following project:
• Upgrade and Implementation of Core Infrastructure of Du as part of the Du Heart Project.
- - - Responsibilities:
1. Primary technical contact for implementation support of products being deployed into customer networks.
2. Responsible for network design validation, proof-of-concept testing, network auditing/sizing, pre-staging, pre-configuration, technical aspects of deployment planning and acceptance of Cisco product.
3. Provide technical guidance to customers and project team.
4. Resolution of technical issues and escalations to TAC in accordance with the procedure defined by AS Management.
During this program I have got many technical and professional trainings in Amman, India and Dubai. The program aims toward building up a solid technical knowledge and to enhance our presentation and communication skills.

I have worked as a TAC engineer in Cisco India TAC. During this period I have been trained on how to deal with customers and how to follow a procedural way to solve problems as fast as possible.

In Cisco Dubai I have got the chance to work on real projects and to practice routing protocols, MPLS using network emulators (Dynamips & others).
Responsibilities (as Senior NGN Engineer)
1.Implement local and International TDM and VoIP Interconnection using SS7, H.323 and SIP signaling protocols.
2.Routing tables and number analysis.
3.In charge of the International Gateway; monitoring traffic behavior, manage all links.
4.Troubleshoot traffic problems such as Low ASR, Low ACD, etc.
5.Traffic engineering; analyzing traffic forecast and then perform network dimensioning accordingly (mainly using Erlang calculator for traffic calculations)
6.Troubleshoot all Interconnections by using specialized Protocols analyzers.
7.VoIP CPEs testing and provisioning.
8.Provide second-Level support for VoIP CPEs (Linksys, Grandstream, Huawei, Red Embedded).
9.Design VoIP solutions for SMEs.
10.Implement procedures and processes to organize the work flow.
11.Support marketing team in developing new products.
12.Provide wholesale team with periodic traffic stats and stats analysis.

Basic training on using Linux Redhat operating system; Installation, using CLI commands and using the graphical interface as well.
