Drilling Rig HSE Advisor
Ensuring effective communication between Contractors and Sub-Contractors to maintain good client relationships
Implementation of HSE Management System as per company set procedures.
Monitor Operation in compliance with HSE and Drilling Procedures. Offer assistance as and when required.
Prepare Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis and continuously review the same for changes in the system. Update and maintain registers for the same.
Execute Monthly, Weekly, and Daily tasks that include audits, surveys, inspections, hazard hunts and report the same.
Fulfill client based requirements and liaise with company and client..
Provide input in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual performance reviews
Assist Rig Managers in Incident/Accident Investigations and reporting.
Ensure effective implementation of Permit to work system as per procedures.
Contribute, implement, monitor and review company’s annual HSE objectives and targets.
Conduct emergency drills (Fire, Rescue from Height, Rescue from Confined space, H2S and well control drills) plan out mitigation deficiencies and improvements in personnel response
Plan and perform HSE audits, inspection and project safety review
Promote safety awareness to workforce through HSE meeting, trainings, walk the talks and stand-down meetings
Principal Responsibilities
:
• Support the HSE management and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Conducting tool box meeting and monitor daily tool box meeting.
• Ensure workplace safety comply with EHS statutory requirement.
• Conduct regular site safety inspection and follow up actions.
• Assist in incident/accident investigation.
• Managing Omani staff at the site.
• Attend pre-job, planning and client meetings as required on HSE related matters.
• Undertaking random spot-checks on the project site and onboard of vessels to verify compliances with the project HS&E requirement.
• Provide HSE aspects of company bid submission as required.
• Managing Omani staff at the site.
• Conduct and present weekly & monthly safety finding.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Maintaining high standards of HSE in all operational areas.
• Prepare and submit HSE monthly reports to the HO management.
• Conducts and organizing staff training.
• Conducting tool box meeting and monitor daily tool box meeting.
• Conducts HSE site induction.
• Conducting daily HSE inspection in work area and accommodations.
• Monitoring daily vehicle checking.
• Updating HSE-MS files.
• Managing Omani staff at the site.
• Conducting Incident Investigation incase of any incident.
• Conducting risk assessment at the work site.
• Monitoring food Hygiene and personal hygiene at the hospitality site.
Certificate in occupational Health and safety executive program Course subjects /HSE Training Safety management. Road safety. Construction safety. Machinery safety. Fire safety and fire fighting practical. First aid. Emergency procedures.
