• Leading technology selection for new production lines and/or machine extensions.
• Responsibility for the standardization of manufacturing technologies within the global
manufacturing network.
• Leading and sponsoring maintenance/enabler projects for method development, process
documentation, and global development of production technology (Ex_Engineering)
• Represent operations management in strategic planning with R&D and marketing.
• Managing and supporting the local CI&T teams to priorities, coordinate the lean activities and
projects within the business unit

Responsibilities:

•Creating/managing projects for reducing manufacturing costs, increasing manufacturing capacity and improving product quality using continuous improvement process (CIP) and Operational Excellence tools (i.e. golden batch, Poka Yoke, PDCA, DMAIC, VSM, Kaizen, OEE and 5S).
•Supervising/supporting of manufacturing process-transfer to another plants (Europe, Asia, and USA).
•Supervising and implementation of scale-up processes for new products/processes from lab procedures to high volume manufacturing, using PHA, MOC and TTP.
•Cross-functional responsibilities with other departments (i.e. PLM, Production, SHE, R&D, QM and Business Management) in inland and international to achieve business platform objectives.
•Controlling of all chemical aspects in production process (approx. 200 different products) at the site to ensure the SHE-compliant, Quality oriented and efficient delivery of products.
•Define re-work strategies for slow moving inventory (SMOG) and off-spec material.
•Support and assistance in certification and audits: Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental
Management (ISO 14001) and Energy Management (ISO 50001).
•Participation in the annual budget preparation (volume, costs and investments).
•Technical, economic and disciplinary responsibility for operation- and product support laboratory (12 employees). (Till 2014)
