• Monitor and ensure Health, Safety and Environmental Plan is prepared, implemented, reviewed regularly and amended as required;
• Monitor the safety performance of contractors on site;
• Monitor compliance with occupational health standards and use of personal protection equipment;
• Participate in internal safety reviews and site inspections;
• Take part in accident and incident investigation to identify both immediate and underlying causes;
• Check observance of the permit to work systems;
• Assist in the promotion, development, organizing and delivery of HS&E training, instruction and information systems;
• Assist H&S Specialist to implement H&S standards on site;
• Prepare Site Safety reports. Ensure Project Key Performance Indicators are measured and reported within monthly reports;
• Coordinate closely with Client’s Quality, Health and Safety Department on Safety requirement and reporting to minimize construction disruption on site;
• Stop unsafe works and escalate up through the construction team and HSE Department until adequate resolution of the issue has been achieved;
• Check Risk Assessment processes are established and systems implemented for production, approval, communication, implementation & monitoring;
• Monitor appropriate fire precautions are taken;
• Provide reports on HS&E performance of projects to relevant managers.

• A waste management plan is prepared, implemented, reviewed regularly and amended as required
• Project objectives and targets are defined, measured and reported within monthly reports
• Project Key Performance Indicators are measured and reported within monthly reports
• Appropriate HS&E policies and signage are displayed and communicated
• Health, Safety and Environmental inspections and auditing are carried out to monitor systems compliance on a regular basis.

• Competent persons are appointed to undertake key site safety or environmental roles with training needs identified and auctioned.
• RISK ASSESSMENT processes are established and systems implemented for production, approval, communication, implementation & monitoring.

• Lifting operations are carried out safely.
• Systems for the management of temporary works are implemented.
• Induction and TRAINING programmers are established.
• HS&E committees operate effectively.
• The general public is not exposed to risks from our operations.
• HS&E RISK ASSESSMENTS are reviewed annually, or as circumstances alter.
• Trained first aid provision is provided
• Assist in carrying out accident and incident investigation correctly to identify both immediate and underlying causes.
• Provide reports on HS&E performance of projects to relevant managers.
• Assisting in the promotion, development, organization and DELIVERY of HS&E training, instruction and information systems.
• Ensure appropriate HS&E input to the tender process asrequired. This may include: responses to pre‐qualification questionnaires; assessment of risks at tender stage; production of outline health and safety plans and providing appropriate advice to estimators.
