Overseeing the production of goods. Make sure the organization is running as well as it possibly can, to meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.
Managing quality assurance programs, supervising, hiring, and training other employees, monitoring existing processes and analyzing their effectiveness; and creating strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
Improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization mission

Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
Oversee the overall manufacturing process in an industry to ensure optimized
production.
Ensure manufacture of high quality and cost effective product.
Oversee the planning and organization of a production process and ensure
availability of necessary material, equipment, and labor resources required for
a plan.
Conduct inspections to ensure production machinery are operational and
efficient.
Ensure production complies with established quality control specifications and
standards.
Monitoring and supervising the activities of production personnel to ensure
effective performance of job duties.
Liaise with other departmental heads such as the QA Director to ensure finished
products are of the best quality.
Ensure manufacturing and production personnel comply with set health and
safety policies when carrying out job duties.
Motivate a manufacturing team to achieve set objectives and target.
Organize training programs to enhance personnel job skill and knowledge.
Issue reports of manufacturing operations, which they present to company
management to update them on expended resources.
Design and implement plans for the effective use of material and labor
resources to achieve manufacturing target
Daily managing all operation of SC activities staring from Materials management till send the final product to customers; Procurement, Warehousing & logistic.
Managing all activity related to the procurement management; sourcing, custom clearance, supplier management....
