- Prepare Matrix to show split of work into zones / areas and disciplines to define responsibilities.
- Reviewing WBS and OBS to prepare their mapping.
- Prepare Schedules to purchase Bulk Materials, Consumables, machines and Plants as per requirements.
- Controlling and reporting of Project and Level III, IV plan, anticipate bottlenecks and highlight these to Site Manager / PM.
- Ensure that Field Engineers effectively performing their functions of estimating BOM and BOQ.
- Understand the project chart of accounts and its mapping on to the company's cost center and closely coordinate with Finance Controller in developing cost reports comparing cost vs. revenue on a cost center basis.
- Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy.
Company with all QA/QC standards (DIMS standards) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services to stakeholders.
- Responsible to develop a comprehensive monthly preventive maintenance Programme using SAP PM/PS system for the various petrochemical plants
- Responsible to prepare shutdown schedules in line with the work list. To critically monitor daily execution, update the plans with relevant reports as required and suggest timely corrective action for achieving (S/D) objectives.
- Responsible to keep inform all maintenance crafts for any major equipment breakdowns to utilize the downtime for any pending corrective jobs.
- Coordinate/liaise with craft supervisors (Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments, Inspection, Reliability, etc) for any preventive and corrective jobs requested by production.
- Responsible to review and update of equipment master data in SAP including functional locations, equipment, PRT, BOMs, work centers, measurement points, failure catalogues, permits, service master, warranty master data, maintenance tasks, maintenance strategies, maintenance plans to support CBM, PM/PdM, S/D, TAR maintenance processes.
- Responsible to develop and issue a purchase requisition of material non-stock category or services maintenance and expected close communication with purchasing group to keep availability or delivery material and services.
- Follow up on the implementation of maintenance schedules, includes visiting sites and attending coordination meetings to obtain feedback on work progress; receiving completed check lists and adjusting schedules as appropriate; and ensuring the regular updating of outstanding maintenance works as backlog. Highlights to concerned personnel repetitive equipment malfunction for further consideration and improvement.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the maintenance programs through the auditing of KPI’s, failure causes, and delay data to identify opportunities to improve strategies, task lists, based on business needs
- Participate in the decision making to optimize the work plan as per operation policy and assist in budgeting process
- Responsible for implementation of SAP PM Master Data in Petrochemical Complex & Monitoring its proper utilization, enhancement as per requirement
- Responsible for maintain an equipment record file, compilation of data such as date of repair, parts replaced, length of downtime and other relevant data for future evaluation to improve the efficiency of the equipment. Recommends modifications and alteration which may improve the efficiency of the equipment and reduce the equipment downtime.
- Prepares and submits periodic reports to Maintenance Manager on equipment status, repairs and servicing carried out.
- Prepares spare parts forecast requirement for preventive maintenance and breakdown jobs to ensure ready spare on hand. Prepare and control allocated maintenance budgets.
- Generating reports on Failures, Preventive Maintenance compliance, Condition Monitoring Compliance, Manpower Utilization
- Active involvement in Major Petrochemical T/A as Planning Engineer as well as Maintenance Execution engineer with full responsibility
- Development of EPC Master schedules, Resource analysis, Progress reporting and Risk planning
- Preparing & monitoring duration and cost estimates using man-hours estimation techniques
- Budgetary controls by preparing detailed cost plans
- Produce project management KPI’s to allow regular monitoring of overall project performance
- Performance of Earned value analysis (EVA).
- Responsible for Mechanical maintenance from field execution to technical inputs
- Management of Technical / Non-Technical manpower for Maintenance activities
- Responsible for coordinating various maintenance planning and scheduling activities related to stationery equipments like columns, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, reactors, heaters and furnaces, boilers etc equipments during running as well as in shutdown with dedicated efforts to meet the deadlines of completion of jobs assigned.
- Collecting and compiling historical tech. data of S/D activities from all sections of plant (CL2, H2SO4, HCL, Ammonia, Utilities) and prep. of Annual shutdown reports.
